Puck. And Quinn. Together. Puck- And Quinn.

Santana couldn't tell what hurt more; the look of genuine affection on Puck's face, or the smears of Quinn's lipstick on his cheek. In one second, she felt that she'd been robbed of everything.

Of her self-worth. Of her already wavering trust in Quinn. Of her hopes of rekindling their friendship.

How could she trust someone who played games with everybody? Someone who cheated on their boyfriend? Someone who abandoned their best friend?

"Nice one, Fabray", she remarked calmly. "I could have sworn you were kissing Finn a few minutes ago."

The jab hit Quinn like a punch in the gut. "No, I-"

"Don't worry. I know relationships and people mean nothing to you."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Quinn was getting defensive now; she noticed Puck slide away as the conversation became heated. "You're the one who slept with half the school!", she scoffed, expecting Santana to deflect the blow.

Instead she caught Santana wincing, and pushed her advantage.

"What? Are you going to tell me that you don't fuck with Puck every day?" She lifted an eyebrow and smiled agressively.

Santana's eyes widened and Quinn saw color drain from the Latina's face. Santana's hands balled into fists and she took a deep breath, trying to overcome the memories flooding her brain. Puck's face. The scent of his cologne. The feel of his dick inside her. The pain. The lack of air, the panic.

She gasped.

A worried frown had replaced Quinn's agressive look, and the blonde walked towards Santana apologetically.

"Santana, are you okay?" she asked. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"

"Don't touch me!" Santana snarled as she saw Quinn get closer, attempting a soothing gesture. "Don't- fucking- touch- me", she repeated, her eyes on Quinn. The look on Santana's face would have stopped a rhino charging at full speed.

"Get away from me, Lucy", she spat.

Quinn recoiled as if she'd been punched.

"So you do know", she said, recovering her façade.
