From then on, the two girls had become inseparable. They spent their whole days together, and every second they spent with each other was blissful and happy.
The whole year of fourth grade went by, and Santana had never felt so whole.
It seemed almost too good to be true. And like every fairy tale, Santana and Lucy's didn't last.
Because, in fifth grade, some group of stupid boys decided that Lucy wasn't thin enough. That she was ugly.
And the bullying started.
The bell sounded, preventing Santana from going further down memory lane.
Turned out, Quinn hadn't intended to come towards her. She was standing a few feet away, busy sorting her books in her locker.
Santana's heart jumped in her chest, and started beating painfully fast. Quinn was at arm length.
She could have touched her. Hugged her. Anything.
But as Quinn obviously was oblivious to her presence, Santana decidedly turned and walked towards her classroom.
