Chapter 60

Sandro POV

"Dad, can i say something?" I asked him as we both eat breakfast together.

He put the newspaper down. "What is it, son?"

"Dad, i know i rely my decisions to you and mom, now that i can decide for myself and for my future, you'll let me naman na diba?" I asked.

He just stare at me. "You're all grown up, Sandro and whatever that is, you can always tell me, Your brothers, Your mom and I will always be here to support and guide you for all the things you want to do" He kindly said.

I took a heavy sigh, I've been thinking this for more than 2 months already. I look at him straight in the eyes.

"Dad, i think I'm ready" I said. He look at me in disbelief as he laugh.

"O-okay, then you better prepare, son. I'm pretty sure iiyak ang mommy mo but wait-- ask cara, i think she knows a lot about this" He smiles.

"Okay dad, I'll tell mom personally for her to know. Thank you dad" I thankfully said as i stood up and hug him.

Athena POV

I just finish checking the notebooks of my students as our class ends, we're just waiting for the recess.

"Mr. Evangelista" I announced as i put my signature to his notebook. He immediately stood up to get it when suddenly the bell rings.

"Okay, that's all for today" I said as i stood up and exited the classroom. I made my way down to faculty to have some rest for a bit. I fix my table and about to lean when..

"Ma'am Argel, si Gov Sandro po nasa labas" One of my co teacher informs.

"Oh okay, Thank you" I smile. I took my lunch bag and went outside to meet him. I saw him waiting but as soon as our eyes met, he walk towards me with a smile.

"Hi, I've talked to Jess sabi nya last class mo na daw" He said.

"Yes, tara sa canteen meryenda muna tayo" I invite as i hold his hand. We both make our way to the canteen and order some snacks.

"Mahal, nag order na nga tayo dala mo pa lunch bag mo" He said as we both sat down eat.

"Ah ito? May sandwich pa kasi ako, baka gusto mo"

"Thank you but for now let's eat muna" He said, we started to eat while talking to each other.

"Nga pala, san ka galing napadaan ka?" I curiously asked.

"Hmm.. I talked to Cara-"

"Cara? Bakit?"

"U-uh about something mom asked me to, pero it doesn't matter" He said, like avoiding something. I just nod and didn't bother to ask him.

"AJ!" I heard my name called so i turn around. It's Mia.
She noticed Sandro. "Ay hi, Gov andito ka pala" She greets. Sandro smile at her.

"Tatanong ko sana if sasabay ka umuwi?" She asked.

"No she's not, ako na mag uuwi sakanya"  Sandro replied.

"Sainyo?! Sa bahay nyo sya iuuwi! Nako, Sandro--" She exclaims

"Hoy Mia, ang oa mo, iuuwi nya ako sa bahay 'namin' okay? Sa nanay ko" I explain.

She calm down. "Ah, naman pala kala ko kase sakanila eh, bawal pa yun syempre di pa naman kayo kasal" She said.

Sandro look up to her. "Don't worry Mia, I'll take her home soon" He smiles.

Mia giggles. "Nako, nako itong dalawang to, osya na aalis na ako, Gov kaibigan ko ha? Iuwi mo ng maayos yan, kung hindi, nako hindi kita iboboto" she says.
