Chapter 64

*Election day...

Athena POV

The morning i woke up, i immediately took my phone and texted Sandro.

To Alexander
Fr Athena

Good morning to our future Congressman! Whatever the result will be, always remember I'm always here to support you, mahal. GOD Luck!

I sent the message then slipped off the bed to get ready. I went to Anton's room to wake him up. When i got out, I saw mama preparing our breakfast.

"Oh Good morning, anong oras tayo pupunta para bumoto?" She asked. I put some plates on our table.

"We can go after lunch ma, marami kasing tao nyan eh" I replied.

"Hindi ba kayo sabay ni Sandro?"

I shook my head. "Hindi po ma, I'm sure maraming media nyan tsaka iinterviewhin pa sya or sila, sabay nalang po tayo"

"Okay sige, mag ayos muna tayo dito sa bahay" She said. We do clean the house and fix what's needs to be fix.

Tita Liza and I had this idea na dadalhin muna si Anton sa bahay nila while Mama and I are voting. While cleaning the house, i turn on the tv and listen to the news when suddenly i heard Sandro's name mentioned.

"Anak ng Bise Presidente Bongbong Marcos na si Ferdinand Alexander Marcos III o mas kilala sa pangalang Sandro na tatakbo muling Congressman ng Ilocos Norte ay maagang bumoto, ito ang balita"

A video of Sandro with lots of medias around him and trying to ask a lot of questions.

"Sir,what do you predict about this Election.. "
"Sir are you nervous at this moment?-
" Sir, what do you want to say to those people who bash you and your family-
"Sir are you confident for winning as a Congressman?" Those were the questions i heard.

"I know every candidate at this moment feel overwhelmed about the things happening, as for me i think I respect and trust the votings of my kakailyan, it's up to them and i know i did very well as a Governor And i think they should trust me one more time to be their Congressman, thank you" He said as a lot of media mics are around him.

I smile to it knowing how pure his heart is and did everything just to make sure that Ilokanos trust him. I went to my room to prepare my clothes and also check my phone.

Good morning Mahal, i feel nervous and excited today but i put my trust in God, tell me what time ka boboto, update me, okay?

I didn't text back. Mamaya nalang pag paalis na kami ni Mama. I went out of my room to tell Anton to get ready, when suddenly i saw the Marcos' car outside, Kuya Lando went out. Sya nga pala susundo kay Anton. I gesture him to come up habang hinihintay si Anton.

Mama, Anton and I prepare ourselves. I fix Anton first  and after his done, i told kuya Lando to go already para makaalis na rin kami ni Mama.

"Ma'am, Aalis na rin po ba kayo?" He asked.

"Opo kuya, pag alis nyo mag aayos nalang ako then punta na kami" I inform.

"Ma'am wag po muna, dito po muna kayo, may ipapasabi daw po si Sir Sandro, hatid ko lang po si Anton Tapos balik ako dito" He said. Huh? Bakit?

"Bakit kuya, bawal ba na kami lang ni mama?"

"Utos po kasi ni sir, basta wait nyo po muna ako" He said as him and Anton went downstairs as he drive him to Sandro's place.
