The Night We Met - Lord Huron
"Take me back, to, the night we met."

Y/N's POV
After Lizzie and I's eventful morning, I went back to sleep when she left for work. It was early, we had a late night, and I was tired, okay?
When I woke back up, it was around 9am. I checked my phone and smiled at seeing her cute smile on the lock screen. The selfies she took from the first night we met and it made me feel warm inside. I replay that night over and over in my head all the time. How damn lucky was I to be in that club on that particular night. How damn lucky was I that Taylor said something about my celebrity crush loud enough for Lizzie to hear. And how damn lucky was I that she actually came over and talked to me.
Shit's crazy.
I sent Lizzie a quick text message saying I was up and hoped she had a great day, did my bathroom routine, and went downstairs to make some coffee and eat some fruit.
I situated myself on her couch and smiled as I remembered how our night started. I felt a huge smile form on my face and a blush fill my cheeks at the thought. That was fun.
I turned on New Girl to pass the time and watched a few episodes. Have I watched all seven seasons? Yes. Have I watched all seven seasons multiple times? Yes. Will I stop? Absolutely the fuck not. I loved this show and it was definitely the perfect humor for me. Even though I have each episode pretty much memorized by this point, I still laugh hysterically every time. It was definitely my comfort show.
I checked the time again and saw it was 10:30am. Knowing Lizzie was going to be home around noon, I decided to watch a movie instead to pass the time. I clicked on Civil War, again, one of my favorite comfort movies, and snuggled into a blanket on the couch with a couple snacks at the ready.
I smiled every time Lizzie came on the screen. She looks so damn good in this movie and seeing her in that red leather jacket just does something to me. That, and those high waisted jeans in Infinity War she wears. Fucking perfect.
I heard keys fumbling outside of the front door and smiled when I saw Lizzie walk in with some to-go bags in her hand. Lizzie looked over at me and returned my smile as she set the bags on the kitchen island before making her way over to me.
"Hey, you." She said, leaning over and placing a sweet kiss on my lips.
I paused slightly as I was a little surprised that she did that. I mean, I know we have already rounded first, second, and third base and made our way home, but that felt a little more relationshipy (that's a word, I'm declaring it now) than anything we have displayed in the past.
I smiled warmly at her at the realization.
"What?"
"Nothing, that was just sweet."
She giggled back and replied, "We have already crossed a certain line, Y/N. By leaps and bounds, actually. So, I think we can kiss each other whenever we want."
I nodded in agreement as we stared into each other's eyes. I reached up, grabbed her chin and brought her mouth down to my lips, kissing her again. I felt her smiling against my lips in response before pulling away.
"I wanted to kiss you." I explained while she just smiled and hummed in response.
We were brought back to earth by Wanda's voice saying "I can't control their fear. Only my own." in her sexy as hell Sokovian accent.
My head snapped back to the screen as I beamed at the scene. This was one of my favorite parts. I loved the confidence and resilience Wanda gained in this moment.
