Drowning Florida AU! So basically Florida was drowning inside and out (ouch) let's get to it
TW: almost drowning, hurricane, vomiting, our boi almost drowning.

Waking up to immediately cough up more water and a little blood this time, his whole body felt heavy. Like a rag filled with water needing to be wrang, it wasn't pleasant, to say the least. And now nightmares, hallucinations, and throwing it in there everything was dizzy.

the hurricane didn't reach its worst until a few days later, he had run out of the meeting room about to vomit water and blood. And Loui followed him to make sure he was okay.

It felt like he was drowning from the inside out, he could feel water climbing his throat, that familiar metallic taste on his tongue. Soon enough there he was choking, Louisiana trying to help in any way he could.

Black had started to spot his vision and Louisiana was frantically calling for Massachusetts, who came bursting through the door not a minute later. Immediately seeing the problem and getting to work.

Louisiana was about to burst into tears from the fear of Florida dying, Massachusetts had cut into his throat where it was 'safe too' and the water was somewhat leaving. He could breathe but not well.

"This isn't going to save him. I'll call an ambulance, and I'll stay till he gets to the hospital, Utah can help you with Jersey and Wash, they're having tic attacks," Massachusetts picked up Florida who was almost limp, but thankfully he was awake.

'Florida stay with us, they can't lose you.'  Mass thought, he was cold to the touch, breathing was hard for him, so calling 911 wasn't easy either but it got done and here they were in an ambulance, Florida getting first aid from the paramedics and Mass while Gov was riding along with them to the hospital.

They got the majority of water out which was the leftovers of the hurricane, there was still some storms going but it was manageable, though he would be in the hospital for a few days Louisiana and Gov we're right with him.

On the day he was discharged, Georgia and Massachusetts were there to help him, after all this was the first time in 2 weeks he had to get up and walk down 3 flights of stairs so of course he was getting help.

Gov and Louisiana were in the car pulled up to the hospital as close as he could to the doors, and soon they all came out and Louisiana got out and helped get Florida into the car.

Sure Florida could walk but not very well and not very long distances so even though Georgia was damaged by the hurricane he knew how badly it had hit Florida.

Once all got into the car, Gov started driving back to the house and surprisingly Florida fell asleep but he was still somewhat drugged from the pain killers and such.

Once all got home they got out and Louisiana practically carried Florida to his room, even though they were just friends Louisiana would rather throw himself on a railroad with an oncoming trains than see his friend die

Florida had been so very lucky, as half of Cuba was sunken by the hurricane, this was by far one of the worst hurricanes to not just ever hit but ever exist!

It took excruciatingly long months for Florida to go back to his old self but once he did, it was almost as though the hurricane had no effect on him.

Soon everything was back to normal for the states, but nobody will forget when they almost lost Florida to such a hurricane.
