They treated him like a circus animal, something they could manipulate into doing what they pleased, then when they were bored they threw him into the streets and beat him. And he didn't fight back, he knew nothing he did would change anything.

"I don't really like to go there
Cause I don't know how to leave
And once I'm in I'm in there deep
So it gets kinda hard to breathe"

he started to panic as his lungs gathered less and less air, the smoke finally taking its toll, too many fires.

"I'm all alone again
My so-called friends just left me here to bleed
Now I'm laid out on the pavement
Hoping someone hears me scream"

The others said they would help him during wildfires like these! He couldn't stand or see as the forest around him burned.

"Each incision represents
A certain secret that I keep
Yeah I make bad decisions
And I don't know how to grieve"

His skin ripped open and blood started pooling out of his body, tears streamed down his eyes but he couldn't even wipe his tears, his body was numb.

"And though you behaved the cruellest
I'm the one that truly loses
So for me, this feels so useless
Why did you have to do this to me"

He screamed in pain, he knew no one would hear him and his sobs ripped through the fire, loud enough for others to hear.

"Somebody once tried to tell me

he shrieked as his back was split open and the burning ground burned him alive, he knew he was going to die. He just wished he said goodbye.

"So what are you supposed to do
When you don't wanna wake up
When you feel so god damn hopeless
That you just don't give a fuck"

he had started this wildfire in hopes he would die, if he was burned to ash he'd be dead, no more states looking down on him.

"Sick from being up all night
Reminisce in twisted shit
Wishin I did somethin different
Wondering why the fuck I didn't"

his tears burned his skin as his life flashed in front of him, he wouldn't miss too much right? No one would miss him.

"Hyperventilating till I have no breath left
But I'm just adding to the weight
Of the bricks left on my chest
The secrets eat up slowly till I bleed
And I hate everything I am
Because this wasn't how it's supposed to be"

His breath got more and more laboured, the smoke invaded his lungs and singed his throat, and he started to cry harder.

"Now I'm lost all alone in a sea of sorrow
No one cares about me
So I don't care about tomorrow"

His phone was tracked by the other states, just before it was also fried, now it was a race against time, who would get there first, help, or death?

"When they say they wanna help me
It just feels like a trap
My mind is damaged
How the fuck do you fix that"

He didn't know anyone was coming for him and he begged to die already, he wanted to be dead, he needed to be dead!

"Lost all alone in a sea of sorrow
No one cares about me
So I don't care about tomorrow"

Finally losing Consciousness, as the flames licked his skin, he was finally going to die, he didn't regret this, they were better off without him

"When they say they wanna help me
It just feels like a trap

When he woke up he saw New Mexico sitting in a hospital chair in front of him, soon a nurse came inside.

"Somebody once tried to tell me

"Hey sugar, you're awake! You've been out for quite a while, your friend hasn't left once, he's been worried sick about you." the nurse spoke, "how long have I?" "about 6 weeks,"

"So just back up and give me a second to breathe
See I just need a minute
I don't want you to leave
But this could have been avoided
Had you just fucking warned me
Didn't scorn me and insist
To make me out like a liar"

New Mexico didn't leave him for a month and a half?! But didn't New Mexico hate him? "Nevada, him and California found you, California wanted to stay but he was needed elsewhere, Nevada is just outside, smoke break."

"Leave me to burn in the fire
As a sat there and scorched
Consuming everything around me
Like a human torch
Cause only then when you feel
Like you can't take any more pain
Will you gain some perspective
And just admit you've gone insane"

'It still hurts?' Arizona's mind was going a mile a minute, something wasn't right, if he was in the hospital he shouldn't still be in pain, right? But was he imagining this? He couldn't tell.

"So what are you supposed to do
When you don't wanna wake up
When you feel so god damn hopeless
That you just don't give a fuck"

He didn't care, he tried to kill himself to end his endless exhaustion, his endless suffering, his pain would've ended, if he just burned out in that forest, he didn't have the energy to care anymore, so why should he?

"Sick from being up all night

Wondering why the fuck I didn't"

He wished his phone had been left at the state House that must be been how they got to him, so why didn't he? Did se secretly want to be found? Surely not.

"Hyperventilating till I have no breath left
But I'm just adding to the weight

And I hate everything that I am because
This wasn't how it's supposed to be"

But then it all faded away, the pain stronger than ever, he realised he was still in the fire, his skin was burning and he would be dead in minutes, he smiled as he realised what happened, a tear slipped from his eye and dried on his cheek as his body was consumed by fire.
