Texas was backed into a corner because of the secession with the Confederacy, he was the Confederate's favourite to screw with.

"How 'bout today
You try eating someone else for a change?
Because the way things are going I won't last another day"

When he had first seceded the war immediately swallowed all his time, and he was psychologically tortured by the Confederacy

"As you open up my ribs the blood flows out like a river
You strip my bones away as you indulge in my liver"

What did he want? He had no idea anymore, he was merely a toy that was thrown out when used too much.

"And the more that I am in pain

And to me, that seems like a pretty fair trade"

The confederacy would twist it to make it seem like Texas' fault for all that had been happening, and he made it seem like he wanted this

My nervous system ignites
The torment, in-spite
Sacrifices must be made"

And when psychological abuse didn't work, he turned to physical abuse, and because of this Texas had hidden all emotions,

"One thing that you'd never hear me say
Is that I'm tired of living
Funny thing that statement change today"

it would take years for him to voice his own opinions, not ones forced into his head. it was just like Mexico, he would beat him, telling him he was powerless and such.

"Good thing that I'm forgiving"

Texas muttered as the Confederacy left the room, leaving Texas bloody and bruised.

I am so sorry, I promise and swear I will post quicker and a lot more, my mental health has been crap, my dyslexia has gotten a lot worse and I've been running like crazy trying to get to a point where I can balance work, school, chores, and writing. I don't really care for sleep considering I have a condition where I don't need as much sleep as a normal person, now that's not saying I don't enjoy sleeping because trust me, I will happily pass the hell out where ever I am. But I am a little worried that this author's Note will be longer than this short ass chapter and once again I apologize for such a short chapter after such a long hiatus...
