2 months later... Keaton's POV
"Get out!" Skylar shrieked from downstairs. "YOU GUYS LEAVE FOR AN INTERVIEW IN AN HOUR!"
I groaned. "Give me a little more time, babe!"
"Oh, hell no," she said, and all of a sudden, she seemed right next to me. "Get up, Keaton."
The next thing I knew, I was being hauled out of bed and shoveled into the shower. "I'm not undressing you, so unless you want soaked PJs then you'd better change," she said warningly before turning the shower on.
I gasped as I was hit with ice cold water. Man, was that a wakeup call. I peeled off my soaked clothes and started to shower.
15 minutes later I was downstairs, joining two other disgruntled band members for breakfast.
"Did you really have to do that to me?" I groaned, sitting down at the table.
Skylar beamed at me. "You know you love me," she said, smirking. "Especially since while you were showering, I took it upon myself to make waffles."
The warm, heavenly smell of freshly made waffles hit my nose, and instantly my mouth started watering. "You didn't," I said, inhaling. Heaven.
"Yes, I did," Skylar said, setting a plate down in front of Drew, Wes, and myself.
"You're the best," Drew said, stuffing his face full of waffles.
"Hurry up and eat, but don't eat too fast, because you have an interview in a half hour," Skylar sighed.
Since her arrival here in Huntington two months ago, Skylar had went from our PW to our PA and PW. The band's Personal Writer, sure, but also the band's Personal Assistant, which was remarkable. She was getting rewarded, because all of a sudden, her paycheck had tripled, so she was content to do it either way.
"Do we have to go?" Wes whined.
She swatted him. "Shut up," she said. "Of course you have to. Then you have a signing to do."
We all groaned.
"But dude, it's Saturday! The waves are calling!" Drew groaned.
"And they'll still be calling you this afternoon, when you have free time," Skylar said, shaking her head. "Ten more minutes."
That shut the three of us up. None of us wanted to leave without breakfast. Especially since this interview was an hour long, no breaks. Ugh.
I was surprised when I finished breakfast before my brother and Drew, normally it was them waiting for me. But then I noticed they had received 3 waffles. I'd only gotten 2.
"Hey," I said accusingly to Skylar. "What happened to my other waffle?"
She grinned. "I wanted two as well, Keats."
"Aww, fine," I conceded defeat as I took my plate to the sink. I walked back out of the kitchen to grab a snapback from my bedroom when I ran into someone.
"Sorry," I said apologetically, and then my eyes widened. "How did you---I mean, you were--" I spluttered, pointing to the kitchen.
"Magic," Skylar said, grinning. "I wanted a few extra minutes with my beau."
I grinned at her, and attacked her with a kiss.
"Keep it PG," Drew yelled from the kitchen, causing us to spring apart and smile sheepishly at each other.
"What makes you think anything's happening?" Skylar hollered back.
"You snuck out of the kitchen with a look of determination," Wes argued, and Skylar flushed.
