Good news, guys, the stressful week is half-done. I have a two week March Break coming up, so expect a few more updates then, but I don't think there'll be more than this one update being uploaded by Sunday.

So, thanks for bearing with me, and hope you enjoy this one!

BTW, lately I've been working on the cover for Expect the Unexpected. It's in the media files on the side, check it out. Vote if you like it, comment if you want me to make changes!

Skylar's POV

"We have to go pick up Ashlyn," Liam told the room at large.

"She's flying in?" Louis asked.

He nodded. "I invited her."

"Is Tiff coming?" Niall asked hopefully, and I bit my lip. It hurt to think that we could've had a relationship like that. At least...I think. Because I didn't really remember much about our relationship. At all, really.

"No, she's back in London. She couldn't afford to miss her dance intensive," Liam replied, and Niall's face fell.

I felt a smirk grow on my face, and Eleanor winked at me.

She was about 4 months pregnant, but when she and Lou had gone to discover the gender of their baby, when they'd returned they were super secretive. I guess they wanted it to be a surprise. I couldn't wait for September.

Or May, for that matter. I now remembered that my brother had mentioned I'd had to walk down the aisle with  Niall, but after the accident I had no recollection of who 'Niall' was.

Looking briefly at him, I could tell why I'd liked him. He had gorgeous blonde hair and really deep blue eyes, which got me lost every time we locked eyes. Plus he loved food (and I loved it too) and he was really easy-going and nice.

But whenever he started talking about Tiffany, his demeanor changed. He talked passionately about her, like she was a prized possession, and he was no longer the care-free boy he normally was. He sounded like a collector that had found something really special.

I wondered why we'd broken up.

"Anyways," Liam said, coughing, as Niall's red face turned to stare at the ground. "As we all know, the trial is in three days, and we all need to be there to help support our lovely new couple." He turned to Louis and Eleanor.

I'd finally gotten my relationship straightened out with Keaton. He apologized profoundly and profusely about how wrong his actions were, and it had taken a while, but I'd eventually forgiven him. He'd invited me to hang back in California while they were recovering from their tour, but I'd told him that Eleanor had needed me to remain in Toronto while the court case was settled. He'd understood, of course, and he promised to Skype me every other day.

"Skylar," Harry said, and I snapped back into the conversation. "Yeah?"

"We were wondering what your plans were in terms of after March," Harry replied.

"I'm staying put for now, but I'll fly out to Ireland if my brother needs me to," I said, shrugging. "My job doesn't require me to stay in one place any longer."

"That's good," Louis said, relieved.

"So how's the lawyer situation going?" Zayn asked him.

Lou shrugged. "All right. We got a girl this time."

"If you ask me, she's just as bad," Eleanor grumbled. "But at this point, we can't really change anything. So every time she flirts with Louis, I'll have to mentally slap her. Or glare."
