Chapter 7

Bella's P.O.V

I woke up to the sounds of birds. It was bright outside when I looked over towards my window. I sat up and moved the covers off of me and went to the balcony and open the double doors and walked outside it was so beautiful outside. The morning air was so fresh. I almost forgot it was fall. The small wind blowing through my wavy brown hair.

But sadly that means we have to back to school soon. I hadn't thought about it , but it's going to be hard switching back now that I have realized it. How would Colton feel about a new school ? Ashton ? I don't even know.

After a while I thought I'd go wake up the boys. I got changed real quick into my light blue jeans with holes in them on the knee and a black t shirt and my white converse. I went into my bathroom to put on some light makeup and loosely curl my natural wavy hair. I was slightly proud of myself for how I looked natural but decent.

I walked into Colton's room and that's when I realized he wasn't there. I thought it was really strange, where else could he have gone ? That feeling of concern started taking over. Then I noticed Ashton door was open the slightest bit.

I gradually open the door as quiet as possible not to wake him up. He so grumpy in the mornings. Then I had noticed he was in the large bed with Colton my heart sunk for them. It just goes to show how much he really does have a heart for him. Ill let them be to sleep.

I exited the room and started toward the hallway. I walked down the steps of the stairs into the kitchen. I smelt pancakes and hot syrup. That was where my dad was there already making breakfast.

He gave me a grand smile before saying " How come your up so early ? Don't most teenagers sleep in ?"

"Dad it's still 9 o'clock that's not to early," I started to laughs and took a seat at the island where he was cooking.

"Are you hungry Annabella ?"

"Yeah but-"

"Just call her Bella," Ashton interrupted me.
I jumped a little because I was startled. He came and sat right next to me.

"Where is Colton ?" I had asked

"He's still sleeping, I didn't want to wake him."

"Okay, I'll bring him breakfast in a bit."

My dad just smiled and handed us plates. He made up so much food. Too much for just the four of us. There was bread , waffles , pancakes, bacon, Hashbrowns and sausage and fruit. it was a lot! Just Ashton didn't seem to mind he piled his high. When we all sat down to eat no one really talked. But my dad had mention school started up soon and that he already had us signed up. I thanked him and continued to eat.

After we all ate I made a small plate up for Colton and walked upstairs. He was awake but watching transformers. I handed him his plate he smiled and thanked me and ate it so fast I stayed in the room until he was done. I took the plate back downstairs to wash it. Ashton was back in his room. And Colton in his. They all started to get dressed.

I decided to take a walk outside. Into the back yard there were woods it looked like they went back forever. It's like the house was in the middle of no where. I used the screen door and left that open and strolled towards the woods. After walking for a bit I noticed this large area that was open. It was a lake. I saw there was a rope hanging from the tree. This must be a hang out area. I wonder if dad knows about this. Probably not, he's not the most observant guy in the world. I also had noticed there was a dock. I was on the dock that I was vigilance. The water was such a light blue, you could see the bottom of lake.

I saw the sunset and that's when I realized it was starting to get late. I picked myself up and waked back to the house.

When I arrived at the house the lights were off. I was timid to go upstairs. When I was in my room, I started to get ready for bed. Ashton walked in and he seem worried.

"Where the hell were you ?! I called you a lot,"
I didn't recall him trying to contact me.

"I was adventuring," I coo

"I was worried about you so was Colton," I didn't think he cared that much. I just walked around was all.

"I'm sorry, but you don't have to watch over me I'm old enough to take care of myself," I meant it.

"I know... But you know about dad and our past," he claimed

" I get that but I'm also not trying to think of our past."

"Okay just please be careful."

"I know trust me you and Colton are the only people I truly care about right now . And that's not gonna change."

"Thanks B," he said smiling.

"No problem!" I returned the smile.

Ashton started to walk towards the door before I said "Hey Ash tomorrow I want us to talk about school starting up in a week."

He rolled his eyes and said "of course we will,"

"Oh shut up you smart arse."

He just laughed at my remark and left.
