Chapter 23

Bella's P.O.V

It was when I got into the car Aston asked me,"What took you so long ?" He said smirking.

"Oh nothing.... " I said obviously blushing.

"I saw Luke and you talking,"

"Ok ok whatever can you just drive home already ?" I said annoyed because I don't want him picking on me about Luke.

"Ohhhh okay I see how it is..." He said starting up the car.

"Oh will you shut up already ?!" I said groaning.

"Ok whatever." He said putting his hands in the air surrendering.

I just laughed at him.

We got Colton from Mrs.Hoods house and I thanked her and he was quiet on the way home, he's usually quite but for some reason he was like timid.

"What's wrong buddy ?" I asked Colton turning around in the passenger seat.

"Nothing...." He said really quiet.

"Okay bud just ask me if you need something ?"

"Okay,"

It was around 6 p.m when we pulled up to the house.

I'll admit I was nervous getting out of the car I was afraid of dad. After these nightmares I've been having. Its just awkward coming back to seeing him, it's just the strangest thing in the world when I'm around him.

I grabbed my school bag from Colton's feet.

I exited the car.

"Ash could you grab Colton ?" I asked Ashton.

"Yeah come on lil man."

We went inside and to my relief we were home alone.

As much as I'm scared of him. He should man up and come and talk to us and work stuff out.

He hasn't been a father once sense we came back.

Ashton and Colton and I that's all that there is in the house I've had to purchasing groceries I'm 17 I can't do this alone. plus Ashton is the only father figure Colton has ever had. Our mom wasn't the best mother either. So I guess it's how it usually is just us.

I set my bag on the dinning table.

"I'll make dinner !" I yelled through the house.

"Okayyyyyyy," They both said while running around.

As much as they are my sibling they truly are so immature. just saying. Ashton's not even as mature as Colton alone.

I was in the kitchen I leaned down and grabbed a pan you could say and I loaded it with water and put it on the touch screen stove and waited for it to boil.

At this time I decided I should start on my homework I hated being behind in anything so my saying is you always should be prepared then to be behind.

I laid out my math homework I love math it's one of my best subjects.

After a bit the water finally came to a boil. I decide to put the noodles into the water and went upstairs to change into comfy clothes.

I put on my maroon and white baseball tee shirt with the maroon on the sleeves and the front white. I grabbed my usual black leggings and threw my hair into a perfect messy bun.

I rand downstairs real quick and found Ashton at the dinner table working with his homework and I went to the island and cut up the chicken. To put into the noodles .
