Chapter 61

Bella's P.O.V

After Luke and I were put into the back of the ambulance checking out the injures we had inquired. My arm was being looked at as I was looking down my sleeve seeing the dark red blood soaked into my white blouse. They asked me so many questions, but it just went through one ear and out the other. As I kept my teary eyes looking at the man who saved me, Luke. Luke was shirtless as his paramedic was getting the bullet out of his shoulder. I didn't realize I was checking him out until I looked into his bright blue eyes.

"Baby are you okay ?" Luke said as the paramedic was putting stitches through my forearm. I didn't reply still trying to recollect myself.

Luke stood up and winced in pain as he made his way over to me. He pushed his hands up my thighs and said to the paramedic to leave us alone. After the paramedic left us it was just Luke and I in our own little world.

As I was looking down at my hands as he was rubbing his hands over my thighs his hands warm against me. I sighed as he spoke again, "Baby are you alright ?"

Again I couldn't look him in the eyes, I didn't want him to see me cry. He leaned down and put his head in the crew of my neck and nudged my head to the side with his nose. Trying to get a reaction out of me. I sighed, "Babe I'm scared, I can't forget what happened down there what was said to me, what was done to me. It's unforgettable." I said while the tears threatened to fall.

He was there to catch the tears, "Angel it's all over nothing is gonna happen anymore. Your safe with me, no one will hurt you when I'm near." He claimed as he pulled me into a light kiss, "I promise".

As we drew apart I heard the calling of my name. I shot up recognizing the voice.

"B ! Bella !" I heard Colton yelling.

I shot up feeling slightly light headed, as I ran to my brothers. Luke following close behind me. That's when I saw him and Ashton by Michael and Calum. I ran into Ashton's arms.

"Your okay," I said crying into his shoulder as he pulled me so close to him.

"I'm okay". He stated.

Colton came and joined in on the hug. I couldn't believe everything that has happen to our family and here we are strong as ever.

1 weeks later

Bella's P.O.V

After my dad funeral we still lived at the house we have 1 more month until we turn 18 and can properly "own" the house.

Right now I was sitting on the coach watching pretty little liars with Calum, Michael, Sophia, and Ashton, and Colton. When Luke came running into the house and fell onto me hugging my waist, "Babyyyyyyyy," Luke whined. As I ran my fingers threw his hair.

"What babe ?"

"Will you marry me ?" Luke said.

I just laughed, "Your funny Luke I'm only 17".

"So you'll be 18 next month,"

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever Lucas,"

"To soon ?"

"Too soon Luke," Michael said laughing.

"One day babe, one day". I said laughing at his randomness.

"I can't wait for that day." He said smiling up at me, and he leaned up and pulled me into a kiss.

"EWWWWW GET A ROOM !" I hear Colton yell and we all just laughed.

While we were laughing I felt Luke phone vibrate. He shifted and pulled his phone out of his pocket and looked at the screen with a serious face. He sat up and kissed my cheek before saying," I got to take this I'll be right back," and with that he exited the room as we all just watched the show.

"Hey B do you wanna marry Lukey-poo ?" Sophia laughed at me.

"One day just not today."

"Why is that ?" She asked me.

"Is it because he smells like arse ?" Ashton said.

"Hey ! Language Colton's right next to you." I smeared at him.

Colton looked at me then to Ashton before saying ," Yeah shut the fuck up."

Everyone gasped then started laughing I looked at Ashton and said, "This is why you'll never have kids ash" I laughed, "And Colton don't ever say that again."

We were all laughing to hard when we heard a loud slam. I sat up and looked into the kitchen where Luke has just thrown his phone onto the table.

Luke walked into the room with a shocked expression, everyone was dead silent just starting at Luke. To afraid To ask what was wrong. Before I finally spoke up, "Babe what's wrong ?" I asked hesitantly.

He looked into my eyes with a perplexed look, "Its my dad....."

"What about him ?"Ashton said standing up.

He looked straight into my eyes as if nobody was around, "Bella the police just called to inform me, Keith just broke out of jail."

Dead silence as everyone turned to look at me.

"And they can't find him."
