Chapter 58

Luke's P.O.V

I was laying in bed when I heard my phone go off. I rolled over onto my night stand and pulled up my phone. I had an incoming call from Bella.

As I slide to answer it my phone suddenly shut off.

"God dammit my phone just died," I sighed getting out of bed to plug it in.

I guess I'll just call her back in the morning. Dammit.

When it came to the morning I was waking into school when I saw Calum's car pulling in. Ashton and Bella ride with them in the morning now I can talk to my angel.

I went to the car and as Calum hopped out, "Calum !" I yelled right next to him and pulled him into a bro hug.

"Lukey poocky !" He yelled back.

"Hey is Ash and Bells with you ?" I asked him.

"No actually the weirdest thing this morning. So I went to text ash to tell him I was on the way to pick them up and he didn't reply I thought nothing of it and I pulled into the driveway I saw ash and Bella  car in the drive way. I knocked on the front door and there was no reply. It was the weirdest thing." Calum explained.

"That's not like them,"

"That's what I was saying."

Where are they ?

Throughout the day I couldn't help but think about with Calum said. Why would they not answer their phones ? Or answer the door ? Bella wouldn't leave without telling me.

"Michael have you heard from Ash or Bella ?" Calum asked him at the lunch table.

"No I was gonna ask you that."

"Do you think they left for a holiday ?" Calum asked.

"No way, Bella wouldn't leave without telling Luke." Michael said.

"True, I'm just gonna stop by after school,"

"That's a good idea, I hope nothing happened to them." Michael sighed.

That's when the lunch bell rang to have us go back to class.

Throughout all my hours I couldn't help but bounce my knees up and down. I was rubbing my hand around my neck as it came down to my last hour. When that bell rang I couldn't have stood up quicker and gathered all my stuff into my backpack and left the classroom.

I made my way out to the student parking lot to my car. I threw my stuff in back and put my car in drive. I was on my way to the Irwin's house with the radio music down low.

I'm not sure why I'm so nervous this has happened before and everything was fine, but this time it feels different. I know something not right.

When I pulled into the drive way just as Calum said there cars were in the drive way. I put my car in park and opened the door.

I adjusted my jacket and went to the front door. No lights were on. No sounds besides the wind and my heavy breathing. I knocked on the door, I stood there with my hands in my pockets rocking back and fourth on my heels. Why isn't anyone answering ? I knocked again. There was nothing.

I twisted the door handle and it popped open. I slowly opened the heavy wooden door, as the creaking sounds ran a shiver down my spine.

"Ashton ? Baby ?..... Colton ?" No reply.

I went up the stairs to Bella's room hoping to find her asleep.

"Angel are you in there ?" I said lightly knocking my knuckles on the wooden door. I opened the door to find everything in its place. I went over to Ashton's room same thing but his books and assignments were out. So ash was home ? I went to Colton's room and he had his  clothes laid out everywhere.
