Chapter 31

Ashton's P.O.V

I just got done texting Bella and I was in Micheals room we were just playing on the instruments he had. He was over on his wooden chair and I was sitting on his bed. I feel like I should say something to Michael about what Dans doing to Bella.

"Hey Michael can I ask you something ?" I asked.

"Yeah of course mate what's up ?"

He stop strumming on the guitar and looked over at me.

"What's the story on Dan ?"

"Oh Dan...well let's just say we have a long history." He said looking down.

"Like what happened ?"

"Why are you asking ? Is everything okay ?" He asked looking me in the eyes.

"Well he's messing with Bella still and I don't know how I feel about it I get a bad vibe from him. Should I be worried ?"

I looked at him and his face expression changed so fast. He set down the guitar and came over to me.

"Okay I'm going to tell you this because I trust you...."

"Okay..."

"So when you guys left when you were 7 years old it wasn't the same it was just Calum and I and that's where we met Luke. Luke was new to the school when you guys left. He was really quiet he never wanted to talk first. Well one day we went out to the field to just kick the ball and that's when we saw luke on the field-"

"Okay that explains how you met luke but what about Dan ?"

"I was getting there..."

It was silent for a little bit but Michael started again. What could be so bad that he doesn't want to tell ?

"Okay when we went to the field we met Luke and we connected right away as friends so on so forth we all became the 3 musketeers we hung out almost everyday just talking working on homework or guys going to kick the ball around and that's when we decided to try out for the soccer team together. We got there and that's where we met Dan and he was with his friend Nathan they were at the tryouts. He all made the team of course including Dan and Nathan and that's when we all started hanging out as friends-" he sighed and took a deep breathe

"But Calum luke and I noticed right away that they were mean they were rude and would kick us and punch us sometimes leaving bruises and they told us they were just joking but it was only getting worse. They weren't just mean to us but everyone. Dan was so mean to girls he would date them just to have "bragging" right you could say. Dan is physically abusive and he's a strong guy. So Calum Luke and I tried to end the friendship. And we did until 2 years later they came back and they were mad at us because we wouldn't be friends with them again. Then Calum started dating this girl that Dan use to date and that's where he crossed the line and started rumors. Dan was telling everyone that she was a whore and a slut and this was in grade 10. The girl ended up moving away because of the rumor were getting worse and worse. It got so bad she didn't want to be here anymore. Calum was upset and they ended up fighting about it and the police got involved it was just a horrible situation all the way around and Dan and Nathan are mad because we didn't pick there side we stuck with Calum."

"Wow..." I signed.

I couldn't believe how bad it truly was until it came out.

"Yeah that's why I don't want him anywhere near you guys. Trust me there no point to get involved with Dan and his friend Nathan."

"Okay I wont." I replied.

"And please make sure Bella stays away." Micheal said with a worry expression on his face.
