Chapter 48

Bella's P.O.V

When we got home I told Colton to head inside. I got out of the car and Luke did too. Colton headed inside I wanted to stay out side with luke for a minute.

Luke made his way over to me while I leaned back on the car. He held my hands in his, "Baby ?" He said.

"Yeah ?"

"Are you okay ?"

"Yeah just thinking." I said with all honesty.

"About what ?"

"About my father, I feel like there's something going on that he's not telling me."

"What do you mean ?" Luke asked me.

I didn't want to tell luke about what the guy had said to me at the mall.

After I didn't reply back for a while Luke let go of one of my hands and brought it up to my chin to look him in the eyes, "Bella I won't let him hurt you anymore." He said and kissed my lips like a peck.

I pulled him into a hug my head in his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist hugging me back.

"Don't be afraid to call me, I'll be on my way right away." He said with a promise.

"Thanks." I whispered back at him.

He let go and went to the trunk and pulled out his suit and my dress. He came right up next to me and pulled me into him and he put his head on my forehead.

"If it wasn't Sunday night I would stay with you." Luke said.

"I wish you could." I said.

"Well I'll let you sleep, don't forget I'm here."

"I know." I said.

He cupped my cheeks and kissed my forehead. He made his way to his car. He waved bye before leaving the drive way.

I looked at the dress in my hands and thought about how lucky I was to have Luke in my life.

I made my way inside and got Colton ready for bed and when he was in bed. I went to my room and listened to music and planned out my outfit for the morning.

There was a knock on my door and Ashton walked in.

"Hey brother!" I yelled at him.

"Hey sis I got a question ?"

"Ask away," I said gathering my school stuff all together.

"Are you dating Luke ?" He asked me.

"Well that was out of no where." I laughed.

"Is it true ?"

"Maybe...." I smirked at him.

"So I'll take that as a yes ?"

"Yes Ashton were dating."

Ashton came up and hugged me.

"What was that for ?"

"I know he'll treat you right but promise me something." Ashton said.

"What ?"

"Be careful."

Why would Ashton tell me to be careful ? Does he know something that I don't ?

"Okay," I said and he hugged me again.

"Okay well I'm heading to bed will you wake me up again ?" He asked and I laughed.

"Ashton your 17 you should be able to wake you're self up."
