Chapter 8

Bella's P.O.V

After we all woke up and got ready for the day. I walked downstairs and Ashton was already there. "morning" he sounded happy for the first time sense we've been here.

"Morning ! Why are you in such a happy mood ?" I said

"Well.... Calum and Michael wanna meet up,"

"Ok you'll have fun with that." I know how much they means let to them. We were all great friends growing up. They were our only friends really.

"No Bella, they want to see you too"

"Really ?!" That was the last thing I expected him to say. I do miss there company. And surprisingly they want to see me. I was thinking they would only wanna see Ash.

"Of course they would love to to see you there. We are their favorite twins." he said sarcastically

"Ha-ha." I grabbed a Greek yogurt and sat down at the island.

"So what time are we meeting them ?"

"They said to meet them at the park at 1. You know the park we would always meet at when we were younger and wanted to get away from dad ?"

"Yeah, I know what your talking about." That park always had such great memories. Wait what about Colton ?

"Wait Ashton what about Colton ?"

"He'll be with Mrs.Hood is that ok ? Do you remember her ? Calum's mum she loves Colton. She's still our neighbor you know "

"No way ! Calum's our neighbor but can we trust her ?" I asked

"Yeah he is and of course we can ! you remember how sweet she was towards us and she loved Colton." I remembered all the times we would have to stay the night there because of our father. Calum's truly another brother to us.

"Okay I'm in. But I have to start getting ready. What time is it ?"

"11:45," he said

"Okay I'll get Colton ready ; then I'll get ready."

"K,"

I walked into the living room to grab Colton and get him ready. He's such a pain in the butt to get ready. He rebels against anything. But he knows he has to listen to us. It's really cute though.

After I convinced Colton to get out of his pjs and into normal cloths he was all ready to go. "ASHTON !" I yelled

"What ?!" He moaned

"Will you make him lunch? I don't want Mrs.Hood to feel like she has to feed him." I I swear sometimes I'm the only mature one in this family.

"Okay whatever the princess what's" he said smirking and laughing

"Don't call me that.." I warned.

He just continue laughing.

I was warning my dark jeans with a white sweatshirt and my black converse and still had my hair wavy from yesterday's curls.

I walked downstairs with Colton next to me. When we reached the bottom steps we found Ashton wearing his usual dark jeans and black hoodie and his little curly hair. After Ashton saw me he started complained saying I was taking to long. Yet he's was the one fixing his hair in the mirror still when I came down. I laughed at him and said

"Okay mister I don't give a shit about what I look like." I said laughing

"Oh shut up and let's go," we both just started laughing at each other. But then I realized we didn't have a car to drive.

"Hummm.... Ash?"

"Yeah?"

"How are we suppose to get to the park with no car ?"

"Well just take one of dads trust me he won't notice. He's at 'work' anyways." Putting quotations around the word work.

"Are you sure ? What if he comes back and notices then gets mad?"

"Bella you need to learn how to live a little your to naïve."

"Am not," I didn't want him to know he was a little right.

"Oh my god yes you are Bella !" He laughed

"Okay maybe a little.." I gave in.

He grabbed a random set of keys and we all talked towards the garage. Ashton decided he wanted to drive. We both got our license on our 16 birthday that was our "big" present you could say. Mom didn't want to spend a lot of money on us. We hopped into a white Volkswagen Jetta. This was the type of car I wanted growing up so badly. Ashton wants a Ford F-150.

When we reached Mrs.Hoods house we dropped off Colton and told him we would get him later. After we exchanged goodbyes and we promised to come by for dinner another time we left. The drive was short. Only about 5 minutes. Then I noticed the scenery. I remembered everything. Ashton seemed nervous a little.

"Hey what's wrong ?" I asked

"Nothing...it's just been a long time and I mean long."

"I know Ash. I was there," I started laughing he didn't.

"Hey calm down a little I'm pretty sure they have t changed a lot. There probably still the crazy bunch of friends from only years ago."
I said and his facial expression softened a bit

"I hope." he said.

At that moment I knew to drop the conversation I didn't want to push him.

We parked beside a tree and hopped out.

"He sent me a text he said he's running a little late." He said

"That's fine we can walk a little bit if you want?" I asked trying to make him ease down a bit.

"Nahhhh we can just stay here and wait."

Then a black B&W pulled up with 2 people in the front and 1 person in the back. When they pulled up next to us. Calum and Micheal got out they haven't changed a lot , they look so much older Michael dyed his hair to a lighter blond. Calum still has his dark brown hair with his lazy cloths. He never cared what he looked like either Michael. But it's the tall blond with really blue eyes getting out of the car that I don't recognize.
