Chapter 34

Ashton's P.O.V

I was on my way home from soccer practice, I pulled into the garage I noticed that Bella's car still wasn't there. I recalled that she wasn't at lunch today either I decided to send her a text.

Hey text me back.... where were you today ?I know you've been ignoring me. I'm getting worried I just got home and your not here. Where are you ?

After I sent that text I haven't realized how mad and worried I was about her. When I walked into the house it was dead quiet. You could hear a pin drop.

I went into the kitchen and saw a note it was from my dad it said.

Gotta be gone for a few days text me if you'll need me.

Of course he would leave us. He's never home anyway.

I made my way up to my room to start on homework. Then when I realized that Colton wasn't home either.

"Shit," I groaned, "I was suppose to pick him up I bet,"

I pulled out my phone again and called Mrs.Hood as she picked up right at the first ring.

"Hey Mrs.Hood,"

"Hello Ashton dear what's up ?"

"I was just wondering is Colton still at your house ?"

"Yes he is, is there anyway I could drop him off in about an hour or so ? Calum's father and I are leaving to go on holiday later tonight."

"Of course that would be great thank you."

"Okay so I'll just let you go see you in a hour."

"Goodbye," I said hanging up the phone.

Ive working on home work for a while now and Bella still hasn't texted me back. I'm starting to get pissed now where on earth could she be?

When all of a sudden the door bell rang. As I got up from the coach and made my way over to the door as I saw the figures outside the glass door.

I opened the front door to find Colton and Mrs.Hood.

"Hey lil man what's up ?" I said ruffling his hair.

"Nothing, but thank you Mrs.Hood for letting me stay at your house today." Colton said with a big smile.

"Oh it's no problem thank you for hanging out with me." She replied hugging him.

"Hey Colton how about you go start on homework and I'll help you in a minute I have to talk to Mrs.Hood real quick." I said to Colton.

"Okay no problem." And with that he left us alone.

I faced Mrs.Hood and moved my head to say to her to go outside the door. We both were outside the door before I closed the front door and stood in front of Mrs.Hood.

"Could I ask you a question?"

"Of course Ashton you can ask me anything your like my second son." She reassured me.

"Have you heard from Bella today ?"

"No actually I thought maybe she was just busy. That must be why she didn't come pick up Colton. Have you not been able to get ahold of her ?"

"No not at all... she hasn't called anyone.Or even talked to her."

"Oh that's so unlike her."

"I know." I replied back nervous. Bella was always the goody goody she would never be the one to get into trouble. plus we talked about everything and now no one has heard from her.
