Chapter 15

Ashton's P.O.V

I grabbed Colton on the way to the hospital because I didn't want him to be alone.

I pulled up to the hospital and we litterly stopped the car and ran inside. Colton was holding my hand while rushing in and he looked confused I hadn't yet told him why we were at the hospital. After we walked in I told Colton to sit down and I rushed to the office lady. The office lady notices my concern.

"I'm looking for Annabella Avery Irwin !" I said so rushed

"Hold on sir..." She said

Then she looked down at her computer. The expression on her face makes me worried.

"I'm sorry Sir but she can't see anyone at the moment."

"What do you mean ?!"

"She's not able to see anyone sir." she said sternly

"I'm her brother ! And him right there is her younger brother. We have to see her!" I said pointing to Colton sitting on the chair.

"Sir I'm sorry but if you sign in and wait I'll call you back when I'm able too." she said with a smile

"Fine," I signed the idiotic paper

I sat down over by Colton and waited.

What seemed like hours later until they said Ashton Irwin. I gently placed Colton down on the long coach trying not to wake him up it was 11 at night. I stood up and asked the lady at the front desk to watch him. She nicely agreed.

We were down this long hallway with bright lights and everything was white the walls the floor and ceiling tiles. I was so nerve racking.

"Room 26A on your left." the lady escorting me said

I thanked her and kept striding down the hall.

It seemed so long until I reached room the number. I was perturbed when I reached the door handle. My hand was shaking. The door handle was rock cold.

I opened the door to find Bella.

She was laying down on the bed.

She had a small bandage over her hand and small brandade over her eyebrow. She had blood all over her cream sweater and her leggings were ripped at the knee. Bella had cuts on her face with dry blood that looks like they tried to clean up.

She wasn't looking at me.

"B...?" I asked apprehensively

She didn't reply to me.

I walked over to her. But I stopped as soon as her eyes met mine. She didn't say anything. But at this moment I didn't know what to say either.

She broke the silence by saying

"I'm sorry...." She was about to cry but looked like she was out to tears

"What for ?"

"This..... We just moved back and now you have to deal with me..." she had tears coming down her eyes

"Bella it's no big deal what happened ?"

"I was pulling out of the store you know from getting food we needed and after I pulled out a big truck hit my side of the vehicle."

"Bella it's not your fault he hit you." I said trying to calm her down

I just hugged her trying to comfort her but no one could comfort her. Your someone real special if you can make her calm down.

"I'm sorry," I finally said

"What do you mean your sorry ?" She said

"I should have woke up early and went with you.... I should have picked up my phone...I should have been here sooner...." I said so sadly

"Ash don't worry about it really your here now to help, that's all that matters."

"We should get going home you don't have to stay here."

"Okay...." She said she's still un easy about what happened

"Ow...." She said getting up

"Are you okay to walk ?"

"Yeah I just need to get home."

She had a challenge walking to the font desk.

After a bit of talking to the nurses trying to convince them to let me take Bella home. They finally agreed. I was able to sign her out.

She woke up Colton. The shock on his face when he saw Bella. He didn't say anything he just stayed right up next to her like he was hugging her legs he was so close.

We went to the car. Colton was holding hands with Bella and I stayed behind them to make sure she was stable.

"Isn't this Calum's car ?" She asked surprised

"Yeah he let me barrow it before I ran out of our soccer practice." I said and her face dropped

"What's wrong ?" I asked

"You left practice for me ?" She asked

"Yes but it's fine really don't worry about it."

The ride home was quiet. I pulled into the house and she walked inside. I went to get Colton out of the back.

I hear a loud crash, and yelling.

I ran inside and told Colton to stay in the car until I came and got him.

All I saw was Bella's face horrified and up against the wall and my father's face so angry he had threw a plate on the floor towards bella.

"What the fuck ?! " I yelled I was mad at this point because I remember growing up he was a angry physical drunk. You could tell he was drinking.

"Where the hell where you guys ! And you took the car ! You didn't even ask me !" He yelled at us

"I was at practice and Bella was at the grocery store because you were out drinking your life away ! And yes I took the car because you don't own us were fine without you !" I yelled back

I stepped up to my father.

"At lease now I know why mom left you....."

"Ash !" Bella yelled.

I turned around and saw Bella holding Colton in her hands on the floor.

"Colton I told you to stay in the car bud." I said sweetly trying to cover up what he heard me say.

"Ashton your pushing it. I wouldn't go there if I were you...." He warned.

"What are you going to do punch me... yeah right you don't have the balls to do it. Plus you want to try to "fix" this messed up family. I knew coming here that nothing changed I knew you still drank and was just as messed up as we left .Is this what you pictured as the "perfect family" well your wrong." I said and his face feel he was so defeated.

It almost looked like he was hurt from what I said.

We were all quiet. I walked away. I left him there to sit through the words what I said.

Bella and Colton follows me upstairs and we all went to our rooms and went to sleep with our doors locked that night.
