Lindsay came home from Andrews house with no real answers. As usual Andrew didn't have a lot to say that was helpful, he talked about how the mother was only inside for a minute and how both girls were familiar with stranger danger and they knew better than to go with anyone.

Lindsay knew that more was said but also knew that Andrew wouldn't say any more on the matter, his faith was good like that. Bubbie was over in the window shimmering in the sliver of moonlight that shone in.

Lindsay walked up and said "What do Bubbie"? "Just watching the world go by" Bubbie said in a sadden tone. Lindsay felt bad for Bubbie, to see the world and not be able to touch it must be so difficult, she was lost in this thought when Bubbie said "So, what did father fuckhead have to say about the missing girls?"? "Lemme guess" he continued "I can't say anything that would betray their confidence, as you know I am a man of the cloth blah blah fuckin blah".

Lindsay smiled at Bubbie and said "That's pretty close, he did tell me that both girls knew better than to talk to or go with strangers which leads me to believe they were forcefully grabbed, so the kidnapper has to be in decent shape to grab two little girls in one swoop".

Lindsay walked over to her couch sat down and looked at the picture of the football team again and the little flag boy. Who are you little flag boy Lindsay thought, and are you the one who took the girls? Lindsay decided to call Sara and let her know what she was thinking about the girls being forcefully taken rather than lured away, Sara was excited at the news, "come down to the station tomorrow Linds, this gives me and idea". Lindsay agreed to meet her there at 10:00 and hung up the phone.

Lindsay looked at the clock and said to Bubbie " its only 8:30, should we head out into the night and see what fun we can stir up"? Bubbie floated up to her pulsing excitedly "now your talking kiddo, should we hit up the bar or grab a bottle and do some outdoor drinking".

It always amused Lindsay when Bubbie would talk like he was going to partake in the drinking, he always shimmered brighter at the though of drinking even though he knew he couldn't".

"Actually, I wanted to take a drive around again and see if we can get any more leads on where the missing girls might have been taken, maybe drive to the outskirts of town see if anything can point us in some direction.

Lindsay drove through the suburbs and towards the outskirts of town slowly, listening for  whispers from the spirits who lived in the wood, she could feel a lot of them in this particular  area and wondered why so many were hanging around here and not moving on.

Once upon a time Lindsay would have gotten out of the car and walked into the woods to talk with them but there was too many and once one spirit knew you could hear them they all wanted to talk and then it became a symphony of spirits all talking over one another and trying to get there stories out, pass on that thought Lindsay and drove on.

As she drove she looked at the surroundings, trees, bushes, nasty old farmhouse that looked like it would fall over with a strong gust of wind. She slowed down in front of the farmhouse, and stared at it as she drove by, how come she had never seen that house before, she's been all over this town so how could she have missed it.

Lindsay had the briefest thought that the girls were in there, but then thought better of it, there would be no place to hide them here, the house had all the windows smashed out of it, doors were rotted and falling off, it was a creepy house for sure, but she couldn't see how anyone could hide in there with so many open spaces from holes in the house, still something was nagging at her.

She decided to keep this thought and share it with Sara tomorrow, as they headed back through the suburbs she felt the familiar chill and fluttering in her stomach. Wonder who I'll meet this time thought Lindsay and slowed her car down.

Lindsay recognized the cursing and grumbling and Bubbie shimmered faster, Lindsay knew this was the same spirit they had met the other night, " looks like its your lucky night". Lindsay said to Bubbie. The spirit floated up to them and in her purring voice she said to Lindsay " hello again sugar, what brings you back this way or are you looking for me"?

Bubbie floated closer to the spirit and said "I'm looking for you, I've been thinking about you since I saw your beautiful shimmer, and... the spirit cut Bubbie off.

"Oh sugar, I know I said I wanted to have some fun but I was meaning fun with her" she said and floated over to Lindsay. Lindsay didn't quite know what to say "umm, thank you for that but I should tell you that I'm interest in fun with men (not that it happens often she sulked), and living men at that" she tried to explain gently, no one liked rejection, living or dead. The spirits shimmer faded slightly, " are you sure, I may not have a body but I can make you feel all sorts of things, things that will make you tingle, moan and beg for more".

Lindsay was taken back by this revelation and a little intrigued, she liked to tingle and moan, but with a spirit and a female, Lindsay gave her head a small shake and focused back on the matter at hand."

" Have you seen anything since the other night when we were here" said Lindsay, hoping this would change the direction of conversation. The spirit floated in front of Lindsay's window and said " you mentioned a van or something the other night, I saw a van drive past my haunting abode, didn't see any girls, just some piggy faced looking man with oversized glasses, I never saw the van return though so I figured that they were just passing on by" she concluded.

Lindsay's stomach flip flopped, this could be something she thought, so the van didn't come back this way or maybe she just didn't see it. Lindsay thanked the spirit again "anything for you sugar, and I mean anything" she finished in her purring voice.
