Lindsay sat down on her couch and started thinking about what the spirit had said to her about piggy face and oversized glasses, she glanced down at the black and white picture of the football team, she noticed that the flag boy was wearing oversized glasses. Coincidence?, maybe she thought but something told her it wasn't, she opened up her laptop and turned it on, as she waited for the familiar chime that told her it was ready, she looked at Bubbie shimmering at the window "What u thinking about Bubbie"? she asked him.

Bubbie floated over to the couch, "I was just trying to remember anything else I could about Melvin, I'm sure his name was Melvin, he showed up at school when I was in Grade 10, I think he was 12 or something, never saw him hangout with anyone, just followed around us football players like a puppy that needed to be kicked away" he explained. Lindsay stared in Bubbies direction.

"Did it not occur to you that maybe he was just looking for a friend, can you imagine what it must be like to be a kid and be shoved into a place where you don't know anyone and everyone is so much bigger than you" she said feeling sorry for the 12 year old boy in the picture.

Bubbie started laughing "oh Lindsay your too sensitive, we never hurt the kid, just tried to help him toughen up, in my day you toughened up the nancy boys".

Lindsay turned away from Bubbie and grabbed her laptop, as she started scrolling through the days news articles looking for anything about the missing girls, she found a clip of the parents on TV, crying and pleading for the safe return of their daughters, saying their names over and over again.

Lindsay squinted her eyes to get a better look at the clip, she laughed out loud when she saw Sara in the background talking to a uniformed police officer,

Sara hated being on camera, so much that any press conferences about  her cases were given by a police representative, her fear of public speaking and being on camera was almost to the point of needing professional help, but you didn't dare suggest that to her, any mention of professional help and Sara would shut down,

Lindsay never understood why but also didn't think it was her place to ask. Lindsay would make sure to mention it to her when she saw her at the station tomorrow.

Lindsay woke at 8:00 the following morning, stumbling to her kitchen to make coffee she noticed that Bubbie wasn't by the window, she frowned and started looking around for his shimmer, she couldn't see it anywhere. "Bubbie, where are you" she called aloud. Lindsay started to get worried, Bubbie never left, at least not that she knew of, every morning for as long as she can remember Bubbie was always by her window when she woke up, even as a child.

She forgot about her coffee and was about to get her shoes and keys when Bubbie floated through the door. "Good morning my girl" he said in a cheerful tone "I didn't expect you up before 10:00". Bubbie casually floated over to the window. "Bubbie, where were you, I was worried, I didn't know what to think, you weren't in the window when I woke up". said Lindsay.

Bubbie's pulsed quickly and brightly and Lindsay knew he was laughing then she heard him laughing, "what is so funny?" she asked in a clear tone of annoyance.

"Worried about me he chuckled I'm a ghost Lindsay, what do you think will happen to me, you think that I'll get hurt or that I'll die, hate to break it to you kiddo but been there and done that". "So where were you"? Lindsay asked again. "Damn woman" exclaimed Bubbie "a man is allowed to have secrets you know".

Lindsay opened her mouth to inform that his days of being a man were in the past, but then thought better of it, no good will come from that comment and she let it go.

Lindsay and Bubbie arrived at the police station at 10:00, Lindsay was familiar with the layout and made her way to Sara's desk waving and saying hello to the officers that were milling about the precinct.

Whenever Lindsay arrived those who were about always stared a little, Lindsay had a reputation of being odd and no one was really sure what her connection to Sara was, she knew at least a few of them thought that her and Sara were a couple, this always made her laugh.

Why did most people think she preferred taco to sausage, either way they weren't worth the time or explanation. She plunked down on the chair beside Sara's desk. "So what u got Hollywood"? Lindsay asked with Bubbie shimmering over her shoulder.

Sara looked at Lindsay with a confused expression, "What do you mean by Hollywood?" Sara asked in an enquiring tone. Lindsay explained about the clip she watched and how she was on camera in the background, "you looked good, if it makes you feel any better" said Lindsay.

Sara went white and stammered "y y y-our joking me right?". Lindsay realized she probably should have mentioned this in a more subtle manner. "It's ok Sara, it was less than a minute and you had to look really hard to see that it was even you, no one noticed anything I'm sure of it" Lindsay tried to explain. Sara still looking white shook her head and muttered about the stupid press and focused back on the case.

Sara slid the yearbook from Millers Point over to Lindsay, she read the year 1956, that was the year Bubbie died. She opened the book to the part that was marked by a sticky note, it was the picture of the football team, with all the names including the flag boy, Martin Katz.

Lindsay looked up at Sara said at least we know his name is Martin and not Melvin" she added this last bit with a laugh and a look at Bubbie. " ya whatever" Bubbie replied.

Lindsay told Sara about the spirit they met and about the piggy face and oversized glasses and that the flag boy was wearing oversized glasses too and it couldn't be a coincidence.

Sara agreed, now that they had a name they had a place to start. Sara turned to her police computer and typed in the name Martin Katz and narrowed the search to a 40 mile radius. In a few minutes they were looking at least 30 different
Martin Kats and didn't see any of them with over size glasses or a piggy face.

They looked at each other with disappointment and both agreed to keep searching and thinking, the girls have now been missing for 48 hours, time was running out.
