Oliver showed up at Lindsay's door fifteen minutes later with soup and sandwiches from the Restaurant, as they  sat at her table and ate Lindsay kept going over her conversation with Andrew, it went better than she thought, she was lost in this thought when Oliver interrupted her "earth to Lindsay", Lindsay looked at him apologetically and "sorry Oliver I just have a lot on my mind right now".

Oliver gently took her hand, "anything I can help you with love?" he asked in a concerned tone. Lindsay laughed to herself and thought not unless you know how to kill a witch spirit thats hundreds of years old, instead she shook her head and said "no, this is a me issue, and we'll figure it out". Oliver looked at her with a curious expression and asked "whose we?".

Lindsay didn't quite know what to say, did I just say we she thought, just then Bubbie floated up to her "don't even think about telling this clown about me or what we do, he won't understand". Lindsay turned towards Bubbie's shimmer and Oliver watched her gaze, what is she looking at he thought, and is she too weird for me "Uh Lindsay"he started "is everything ok?" He watched her reaction as she opened her mouth to say something then closed it again.

"I meant Andrew and I, we have something to take care of" she said as she tried to recover, she felt awful that she was lying to him, how will it ever work if she starts with a lie. She noticed Oliver looked at her with doubt and felt even worse, she debated on telling him the truth and was about too when her phone chimed, twice.

She looked and saw messages from Sara and Andrew get the the church asap, Lindsay's stomach dropped, "we need to go Bubbie now" she said urgently and got up from the table. She noticed Oliver sitting there watching her with a puzzled look "sorry Oliver but I gotta run, something important, gotta go now" and she opened the door for him to leave.

He stood up and walked over to her smiled at her and took her keys out of her hand "Ok, lets go, but I'll drive you look a little hyped up right now", she was going to protest but then her phone chimed again, fuck it she thought, and they both went out the door with Bubbie floating behind them.

As they drove Oliver asked what the emergency was, Lindsay answered honestly and said she had no idea, then suggested Oliver stay in the car, could be possible police business and she wasn't sure if Sara would want him to be there. Oliver knew she was avoiding something, but he wasn't easily scared away, he had travelled all over the world and has seen things Lindsay wouldn't believe he thought as he looked at her with a smile and said "I'll take my chances".

They pulled up to the church and saw police lights flashing, at least two cruisers were there and Sara's unmarked car, what the fuck happened Lindsay remarked out loud. Bubbie floated up behind Lindsay and said "this doesn't look good kiddo, we need to be careful". Lindsay nodded her head and said in a whisper "I feel it too".

They all entered the church and stopped in their tracks, the damage was staggering, every pew was tipped forward onto of one another as if in some odd prayer ritual, the carpet in between the pews were shredded as if someone has taken a sharp rake down the aisle, bits of carpet and fibres were every where,

Lindsay looked towards the front of the church and all the crosses were hung upside down and had black blood still glistening as it dried Lindsay stomach dropped and she grabbed Olivers arm when she saw the message that was written on the wall behind Andrew's altar bring me whats mine was written in thick black blood.

Oliver placed his hand on Lindsay's then pulled it away, her skin was so cold he moved closer to her and put his arm around her, he had to fight the urge to shudder as he started to adopt the chill from her skin, what was happening he thought to himself.

Lindsay was aware of Oliver touching her but hardly acknowledge it, she was too horrified by what she saw and heartbroken for Andrew who called this place his home, his safe place, his sanctuary and now it was destroyed, the tokens of his faith strewn about like garbage after an all night kegger, Lindsay couldn't stop the tears in her eyes as Andrew walked up to her, "I'm so sorry" she said and hugged him tightly.
