Félix managed to convince Pepa with the little time that we had, that she should sit in the audience while he walked Dolores down the aisle. She needed to calm down, he reasoned.

The music stirred up and I could see Camilo shaking beside me. I tried keeping my chin up but at the same time, I would steal a glance over at him. I inched closer and naturally slipped my arm into his, grabbing his attention. The heavy chaple doors creaked open and I kept my eyes straight ahead, clenching onto his arm. I heard him laugh a little and that reassured me that he was okay.

Antonio goes ahead, tossing Isabela's flower pedals gracefully into the air. I can hear the audience gasp and coo gently watching as Antonio walked by. The little boy flushed with embarrassment and finished his pedals, reaching the front of the room. Camilo takes a deep breath and the both of us led the way down the aisle.

Right, left, right, left...

I can hear some of the guests gasping in awe when we approached the aisle.

Despite listening to the music over and over during rehearsals, it hit differently today. Camilo had always flirted with me every time we practiced walking down the aisle, but he was silent now. I spotted Mrs. Perez, Papa, and a small handful of the older children just ahead. Marco gasped at the sight of Camilo and I. I bit the inside of my cheek from seeing his reaction. It was honestly a magical moment. The hours of rehearsals were put to good use.

Camilo pulled me a little closer and I could feel his heartbeat against my right arm.

He's really tense.

We reached the front where the pastor and the groom stood and Camilo and I parted, his arms stiffened when I let go. We went to our rightful location and he glanced up at me from behind Mariano, and flashed a wimpy smile. I replied with a lip bite before turning to watch Mirabel and Bruno approaching us.

When everyone lined up in their appropriate places, the music stopped and suddenly the audience stood from their seats. The sound of breaths being taken away filled the chapel and the music cues in again. Above the heads of the audience, my eyes scanned for Dolores. I see the top of her veil, she moved gracefully with her arms in her father's.

When she was finally in my view, a small gasp escaped my lips. Her dress's train trailed behind her, her beautiful thin figure attracted everyone's eyes. What a sight she was.

Her father was sniffling beside her and she couldn't help but giggle at him. As she climbed up the flight of stairs, her caramel eyes shined behind her veil when they landed on her future husband who stood in front of her, speechless.

I reached and covered my mouth at their silent love for one another. With the music coming to an end, I could feel my eyes water at how beautiful the moment was. She stood with her back to me and over her shoulder I see Camilo staring straight at me. His eyes glistening as if he had been watching me this whole time. I put my hand down to my side and he offered the calmest smile he's ever shown to me. My heart jerked just looking at him and he averted his attention to his hands. It was as if at this moment, it was our wedding instead.

The vows were said, the rings were placed and the kisses were established. The crowd went wild just as Mariano picked up his bride. Mirabel clapped behind me and I could hear her crying heavily. I turned around and she gave me a hug.

"Oh! I'm so proud of her!" She sobs with her tears and snot running down her face. I giggled and patted her back to comfort her.

"When will it be your turn?" I asked over the loud cheering of the guests and she shot me a disgusted look. I laughed harder at the fact that her expression changed so fast.

"Y/n, honey, I'm waiting for yours and Camilo." She says, gently wiping her face. I blushed at the thought again and shook my head.

"What?--"

"Alright! Let's eat and dance the night away!" A familiar voice of Abuela had announced and the cheering got louder. The feast was held just outside the church where lights were hung in the night. The night was nostalgic. The stars outshined the moon, so Pepa must've be happy.

Waiting in line for the food, I felt someone lift me into the sky and twirl me around in a familiar gesture. I laughed in the air and Camilo put me down, he seemed to be in a better mood than before.

"You gonna eat, or sit and look pretty tonight?" He asked with a brow raised. I held up my empty plate in front of his face,

"Eat, duh. I'm starving!" I admitted and I hear him cackle at my answer.

"As expected." He chuckled and I rolled my eyes at him.

"By the way, you should be at the back of the line." I mentioned in a low tone and he threw me a guilty look. Camilo shook his head and scooted closer to me,

"Shh, not so loud, Y/n." He whispered and I laughed, elbowing him to keep the distance between us. We eventually got our food and we headed to the reserved table that was set up under the stars. There, sat the Madrigal's, but most of them were out dancing or getting food.

Camilo kept his eye on me to make sure I sat beside him and when I did, he nods to himself. I shook my head at him, but he didn't see my reaction. Live music was being played and people of all ages danced in the streets of Encanto. I laughed and watched from a distance as Mrs. Perez danced with Marco. Then to my left I see Mirabel talking to a boy I've never seen before.

Interesting...

A few moments passed of laughing and watching everyone dance, as I ate my food next to Camilo. The Madrigal boy faked a cough to get my attention. I looked up at him and he nodded to the people in the streets who danced with the live music.

"You look like you wanna dance, but don't have a partner." He hinted to me and I laughed, shaking my head.

"No, I was just watching--"

Camilo stands from his seat, pushing in his chair and extending his hand out to me.

"Care to join me?" He asked with a head tilt and I giggled, still shaking my head in denial.

"Camilo, please. We haven't finished our food." I reasoned poorly and he looks at my plate with hesitation before shaking his fingers in front of me.

"It'll be quick, trust me." He reassured with pleading eyes. I stared at him, skeptical about this decision when suddenly he grabbed my hands and pulled me to my feet.

"Camilo!" I gasped yet a smile played on my lips as he dragged me into the lively night. Camilo secured his arms around my waist and I hesitantly placed mine over his shoulder when we got to the dance floor. I have never been so close to Camilo like this before, especially for a long amount of time. He grins down at me, his loose curl danced just about his brow.

"You're as beautiful as ever, no?" He tilted his head a tad bit and I flushed at his compliment. I avoided his eyes and shrugged,

"I-I mean, I'm alright." I admitted guiltily and at this Camilo furrowed his brows together,

"Hm? I don't think I heard you right, Y/n." He says, eyeing me before gently pulling me closer to him. Camilo leans in to place his lips at my ear, "I'll say it again," he whispered, snuggling his nose closer to the side of my face. My eyes widened, feeling his hot breath on my ear,

"You're breathtaking." He says softly and at this I couldn't help but smile. I let a small laughter escape my lips,

"Oh, Camilo." I sighed, flattered, but he didn't bother to pull away from my ear. He swayed us side to side to the rhythm of the music, his fingertips traveling the curve of my back.

"I can repeat it again, if it didn't get through that thick head of yours." He teased and I laughed, tightening my arms around his neck. This time I put my lips to his ear, sending a wave of sensation through him.

"Please."
