Today's the first day of the fundraiser. The day my deal with Camilo will start-- wait. I recalled the sleepover deal, where he can't interact with me in any way, shape, or form. However... Shortly after that, I remember him saying that he'll find a way out of the deal, yet he wouldn't break it.

I stood behind the wooden stage that the Madrigal's built for us a week ago. We were staged beside Casita where a large plot of land was easy to use. I was dressed in a silky maroon dress with gold designs and a beautiful crown sitting on my head. I laughed to myself and looked up to see Camilo having a small talk with the children.

"He seriously found a way out of my deal." I shook my head and just in time Camilo looked around in the middle of his pep-talk and he happened to meet my eyes. Camilo quickly ended their conversations and dismissed the children before running up to me.

"You ready?" He asked in his jade-green jester outfit. A cone shaped jester hat rang its bells when he stood in front of me. I continued to stare at him and he threw me an odd expression. "You're scaring me. Why are you--"

"Do you remember our deal during the sleepover?" I asked with an amused grin. Camilo quickly caught on and laughed nervously.

"Oh, you mean the one where I'm restricted from talking or touching my girlfriend?" He asked and then scoffed, "I actually don't recall, now that I think about it." He placed his finger to his chin pretending to think hard and I laughed,

"You got me this role as a Queen so that it'll prevent us from being separated, isn't that right?" I asked and placed my hands on my hips. Camilo threw his hands up in surrender, except he didn't surrender.

"Hey, you're the one who took up the role. You just happened to fall right into my trap because now you can't back out of this idea, can you?" He smirked, leaning in mockingly. "You're my Queen if you like it or not... Told ya I'll find a way out."

I glared at him and he blew into my face causing me to blink hard. I heard him chuckle so I opened my eyes to see him straightening up.

"Chin up princess, or the crown's gonna slip." He teases and makes his way toward the children again. I flushed and stamped my foot as the skirt of my velvet dress flared dramatically behind me.

"I'm a Queen." I corrected and he just flashed me a smile before Marco took Camilo and dragged him somewhere. Watching as he laughed with the kids, a familiar voice spoke into my ears,

"Did you see the look in his eyes?"

I yelped and looked up to see Mirabel standing behind me. She decided to volunteer to be the narrator instead of Camilo just so he didn't have to juggle around the stage too much. I collected my skirt up in a nervous manner.

"Geez, give me a warning next time." I mumbled and she laughed, patting my shoulder with a look of satisfaction.

"There's no warning when it comes to the Madrigal's, and you should know since Camilo doesn't give any." She admits and the both of us agreed silently. "Anyway, I just wanted to wish you LUCK!" She squealed and bowed dramatically, "Milady." She says in a fake accent. I laughed and bowed,

"Thanks, I'll need it." I breathed. Mirabel clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth,

"Hey, don't doubt yourself just yet! You've got a whole week ahead of you, girl." She reminded and it made my stomach spin at the thought of being on stage this whole week. I held my stomach,

"Mirabel, that's not helping." I joked and she laughed nervously, pushing up her glasses. I smiled and tried to relax as I nudged her a little,

"Good luck to you too, O' Narrator." I bowed and she giggled before remembering that she had to get to the stage.
