"The town's been talkin' about your show, ya know." The baker from across the street nods and his mustache bounced along with his head movements. Today was the 4th day of the fundraiser. I smiled, placing the bread and other pastries in my basket. I handed the baker the full price.

"Come stop by when you have time. I'd love for you and your wife to watch." I begged gently and the baker chuckled,

"Darlin', we were one of the first to arrive the moment it started." He admitted and I gasped,

"Really?" I say and he laughs joyfully and we spent another couple minutes discussing the play and how well written it was. "Camilo wrote the play." I whisper loudly and the baker nods, not much of a surprise for him.

"That boy sure is talented." The bearded man says and I smile at the compliment.

I left before he could give me back my money. As I made my way to another shop, I could've sworn I saw Camilo just a couple feet away. With all the villagers walking around in the streets, it was hard to tell. He disappeared. I scanned the area again, either he's actually trying to ignore me or I'm just seeing things. I shrugged and continued on with my schedule.

"Ah, Y/n! It's been a while since I've seen your face!" The vegetable woman chuckles, calling out to me just as I was headed toward her. Her silver, frizzy hair has always been pinned up on the top of her head so tightly I was beginning to think she might go bald any second.

"Hello, Mrs. Gomez, you seem to be in a good mood today." I realized as I stood on the other side of her shop. The old woman shrugs with a little smile on her lips. "It has been a while hasn't it? Mrs. Perez took over grocery shopping for me for the last couple of weeks because of the fundraiser." I laughed just as she threw me a toothy grin,

"Busy with that Madrigal boy, aren't we?" She winks and turns to get my bag of vegetables. I rolled my eyes playfully and the elderly woman turned back around to hand me my groceries. Before I could grab my supplies, she gently took my forearm in her hands and leaned in to whisper loudly,

"You know, you're quite lucky to have met a boy like him. He's deadly charming for his age." She says with a proud nod, I gave her a wry smile.

"I-I can agree." I admitted and the woman laughed a little,

"Now tell me, what caught your eyes when you met him, hm? My husband says it was my laugh that drew him to me." She winks and I giggled,

"I can see that." I said and she released my arm as I thought about her question. Everything about Camilo was breathtaking, how could I choose one? His emerald eyes? His cotton like hair? His lazy posture? I let out a laugh just as something popped into my head,

"Mm, definitely his passion. That was something that stood out to me. He loves what he does-- making the children happy." I smiled with satisfaction at the thought of him then suddenly we hear--

"Camilo Madrigal!"

That's when I realized I had been talking to Camilo this entire time. The original Mrs. Gomez stood behind her duplicate with her arms crossed over her chest in irritation. She growled and grabbed the closest thing to her and shooed him away with it, playfully. Camilo laughs and hops over the counter and lands on his feet right beside me-- all while he reversed back to himself.

"Sorry, Mrs. Gomez!" He says as I couldn't help but flush with embarrassment.

He tricked me to agree that he was deadly charming!
