yeosang sat in the back of the classroom next to his best friend, wooyoung, the older of the two doodling in his notebook instead of paying attention to the lesson. who needs math anyways?, the boy constantly thought.

"sangie!" wooyoung called out, nudging the boy.

yeosang snapped back into reality and looked at wooyoung with confused eyes.

"class is over, sang. are you ready to go?"

yeosang nodded, quickly packing up his bag and following wooyoung out.

"san's heading to work after his class finishes, wanna hang out for a bit?"

"sure. hwa's working late anyways."

"cool, mine or yours?"

quickly, the boy thought back to the morning to remind himself whether or not his apartment was fit enough to have guests over. he then shrugged, leaving it up to wooyoung to decide.

"let's go to yours. it's been a while since i've come over."

with a nod, the two were on their way, stopping at a starbucks for an afternoon pick-me-up before continuing to yeosang's. when they arrived, yeosang quickly put down his things and headed towards the kitchen, stopping at the dining table when he saw a note from seonghwa.

my love,

i'm heading over to mingi's after work! you're welcome to join if you'd like :) if not, i hope you have a good night and i'm sorry for the last minute plan <3 i'll be home a bit late so don't push yourself to wait up for me!

i love you endlessly <3

- hwa

yeosang smiled small at the message, then looked up at wooyoung.

"when does san get out of work?"

"hmm... not until eleven, why?"

"hwa's going to mingi's when he gets out. i was just hoping you'd want to stay a bit later, maybe until san gets out?"

a bright smile appeared on wooyoung's face and he started to nod vigorously, excited to spend some much needed time with his best friend. sure, he loved his own apartment even when he was alone, but since both boys were in relationships and had their own obligations outside of school, it was hard to find time to hang out.

"great. i'll grab us some snacks, you can choose something for us to watch!"

"or we can play some video games?"

"woooooo," yeosang pouted.

"c'mon, sangie! we rarely ever get to play together anymore!"

"fine, but only a couple games! i'm tired and wanna watch tv!"

wooyoung clapped his hands while yeosang rolled his eyes and got the two boys some snacks to munch on while they played, then going over to the couch and setting down the snacks on the coffee table.

"have i ever told you how much i love this apartment?" wooyoung asked.

yeosang only shrugged, not entirely sure.

"it's so cozy... i can see why you'd enjoy living here."

"well... if it wasn't for hwa we wouldn't be able to afford much, so..."

"you're really lucky, yeo. to have a boyfriend who supports your dreams. i'm lucky too, but it's rare that you find someone who is willing to take risks to ensure that you can continue chasing your dream."

"i really am, aren't i? i love him..."

"just make sure you show him that, yeah? let's play now, all this sappy talk is going to mess me up!"

yeosang laughed at his best friend and picked up one of the controllers, then the two started playing. the hours went by quickly, the two eventually transitioning into doing homework with the tv on in the background, and later even ordering for dinner. eleven o'clock came faster than either boy expected, yeosang sulking when the younger got a call from san letting him know he was on his way home.

"sannie just left work, i should head home soon!"

"do you have to?" yeosang asked with a pout.

"sangie... do you want me to drop you off at min's? since hwa is there?"

yeosang shook his head. he was already comfy at home, he just didn't want the fun to end so soon. he loved spending time with wooyoung, it was precious to him.

"call me when you get home, okay?" yeosang whispered, pulling wooyoung into a warm hug.

wooyoung smiled as he did, thinking about how it had been a while since the older had initiated any affection.

"okay, i will. see you in class tomorrow?"

"you're still driving me home, yeah?"

"of course!"

"okay... see you then."

"i loveeee you!"

"i love you too, woo. get home safe."

yeosang gently shut the door after wooyoung had made his way out, then started to pick up a bit. he texted seonghwa that wooyoung had come over for a bit and he was still awake just in case the older planned on being home soon, then he walked over and plopped himself on the couch, turning on a random channel and staring at his phone.

normally he didn't worry about seonghwa when he was just over at mingi's, but for some reason, he was tonight. maybe it was because seonghwa hadn't responded yet, or because he had written a note instead of texting to let yeosang know where he was, but the boy was worried and he couldn't stop himself. he stayed on the couch with a slight pout on his face, just hoping that seonghwa would text or call soon, or even that he would show up at their door.

yeosang felt his eyes grow heavy as he laid across the couch, his eyebrows still furrowed slightly in worry as he fell asleep.

a couple of hours later, around 1am, seonghwa quietly walked in, frowning a bit when he saw yeosang sleeping on the couch with a distressed look on his face. he put down his things and then walked over, carefully picking the boy up and bringing him to their bedroom, where he changed himself and then carefully changed yeosang, respecting the boy's body as well as he could. even though they had been together for so long, changing the boy while he was unconscious always made seonghwa a bit nervous, so he did his best to only look at his top half unless it was absolutely necessary for him to look elsewhere. after this, he tucked the boy under the covers before sliding in next to him and hugging him close, kissing the boy's temple lightly before closing his eyes and drifting to sleep himself.

his love for yeosang would never stop growing if you asked him, and the little moments like this only doubled it.
