tw // mention of death/suicide
once seonghwa left, yeosang quickly called wooyoung, feeling absolutely awful about everything. the younger quickly answered his phone and then insisted on picking him up, despite yeosang's protests.
once the two got back to wooyoung's place, the younger wrapped yeosang in blankets on the couch and put on the boy's favorite anime before going to get him some water. while he was in the kitchen, san walked in, a soft frown on his face.
"is sangie okay?" he asked in a whisper.
"he had another fight with seonghwa... he won't tell me much else though..."
"poor thing... hey, are you two going to be alright here? i'm going to mingi's to see jjong..."
"did he tell you what happened yet?"
"vaguely... i think if i go see him now i might get more of an idea of what's going on."
"okay... go. see if he'll come over here with you when he's feeling better. he's good company."
san nodded and kissed wooyoung on the cheek before heading to the living room, giving yeosang a quick hug, and leaving the apartment.
"w-where's san going?" yeosang asked softly as wooyoung walked in with water for the older.
"to mingi's to check on jjong."
"d-do you know what happened? j-jjong didn't tell me..."
"i'm not sure... hopefully we'll find out soon though."
yeosang nodded, resting his head on wooyoung's shoulder.
"sang... has everything been okay at home for you two?"
yeosang shrugged.
"are you sure you don't want to stay with me for a bit?"
"n-not right now..."
"okay... i'm just worried, y'know? i haven't seen you cry this much over your relationship before..."
"i-i'm just scared... i-i'm afraid of us getting to a point where we think we need to break up, because all i know is life with him. i stayed with him for so long after my parents died, a-and even when i moved in with you, he was always right by my side. i love him more than anything, woo... i don't want to lose him."
"just don't lose yourself either, yeah? i know how hard it is to even think of the possibility, but you need to remember that you have to put yourself first and if things get to be too much, you need to take a break."
yeosang nodded, curling into wooyoung's side.
an hour later, san and jongho walked through the front door, the younger shaking slightly. wooyoung quickly got up and gave the boy a hug, whispering something to him before helping him over to the couch.
"jjong..." yeosang said softly, reaching out his hand for the younger to take.
hesitantly, jongho took yeosang's hand, the older giving his hand a squeeze of reassurance.
"i may not know what's happening right now, but i'm always here if you want to talk about it or anything... okay?" yeosang whispered.
jongho nodded, scooting closer to yeosang. a small, weak smile appeared on yeosang's face, and jongho soon felt comfortable enough to rest his head on the boy's shoulder, tears threatening to spill over again.
"jongho... i think you should tell woo and sangie what happened..." san suggested.
"r-right... um... so, a-after the accident i got into, i went home a-and... my mom told me to sit down. i did, although i was confused. i-i was really scared, r-really worried... a-and then she told us... my dad was gone. h-he killed himself... i-i wasn't— i-i wasn't really close to him because he didn't exactly s-support me being bi, b-but... i still love h-him..."
