CHAPTER 36 - MEETING
“Good afternoon, Ms. Rain.” I had some talk with my secretary earlier. At tsaka, okay lang naman ito as long as ma-fulfill ko yung 5 hours na working hours ko dito.
“Good morning din. Why are you here, by the way? Bumili na ako ng coffee ko. I’ll just call you if I needed something.” I smiled then turned to sit on my chair. Gusto ko na kasi agad makauwi. Kung may lakas na ako ng loob, I wanted to talk to Gerald.
I looked at her, “What does it has to do with me???”
“Kailangan niyo daw po sumama.”
“WHAT!?” Okay. Ano!? Ako umiiwas? Bakit naman ako umiiwas??? Hays, hindi ko na maintindihan sarili ko.
“Ahm...Sorry po ma’am...but I can tell Mr. Cloud if---“
“No. It’s just that...ahm...I’ve got loads to do today...” Pagdadahilan ko.
“Okay po Ms.” Then she left me.
Hay nako, Rain. Ano ba itong inaasta mo. It’s all about business, okay? Pero kasi naman...after he asked me to befriend Ghem...sobra na talaga akong nairita sa kanya. Tsk.

“Why do I need to go with you?
“You were requested. As if that’s my fault.” Cold niyang sagot.
Yeah right. I was requested? GRO lang ang peg? Hahah! Okay, just kidding.
“Who requested me?”
He looked at me for the first time and gave me that famous deadpan look of him, “The creative team.”
“Who else would go...aside from me?” I asked then crossed my arms.
“I will.” He replied, turning back his attention to the papers on his table.
“Who else?”
“Just you and me.”
“What!?”
“Look, Rain, we’re talking about business here. And why are you even surprised? You seemed to be almost...always in demand.” Sa sinabi niyang iyon, parang may meaning ata yung ‘always in demand’?
“Okay fine. Should we leave at what hour?” Tanong ko sa kanya. Okay, I am trying to sound casual and look amenable here.
“Actually, we should leave right now.” Tumayo siya sa pagkakaupo niya, then he motioned me to follow him.
“Where to?”
“Tagaytay.” What!? Ang layo nun ah!!!

“Er...I think I should bring my own car.” I said while trying to smile at him.
