Chapter 2- An Italian for Dinner

-three months later-

"Miss Alexandra please wake up for the last time! You're already late...again!"

I groaned and rolled over expecting there to be more bed. As usual, there wasn't. I hit the floor hard and immediately stood up. I miss my king sized bed back at the kingdom

"Yea, yea, yea I'm coming. " I grumbled, checking myself in the mirror to make sure I hadn't broken my nose.

It had been like this for three whole months. I was constantly late for everything and caused several people inside the manor to dread any interaction with me. The damn butler included.

I stretched my body upwards, cracking my spine. "Another day in Hell."

Rubbing my neck, I went over to my closet where my horrible uniform was. I couldn't even remember the last time I had worn a modest dress which made this contraption all the more humiliating. The first time Michaelis saw me in this getup he burst out laughing.

"ALEXANDRA SERIOUSLY HURRY UP." Bard yelled.

I wrinkled my nose and rubbed my forehead slipping on my skirt. This torment was unbearable. Usually demon contracts take a year at most! I did a double take when Sebastian told me he had been here two years.

I scoffed and scowled at thought of Sebastian Michaelis. The perverted demon had been trying to get me to bed with him since day one. My first night here he cornered me in the kitchen with the intent of, per his words, 'bending me over the table'. I hit him so hard between the legs he limped for a week.

He also had some weird fetish for cats which resulted in him exposing my ears and tail to all the other servants. He just started randomly started petting me which freaked everyone out, especially me. He then revealed I was part cat and everyone thought he had finally gone crazy.  I just told them the same bogus story me and Leon always use when we get found out. How our parents gave us up to this government plan to blend us with animals and make us these perfect killing machines blah blah blah. Actually a really touching story if you sit through the whole thing.

I had finally finished getting dressed and I ran out the room hoping to get to Ceil's room before he woke up. I dreaded seeing Sebastian in. the morning. He always got worse when he and I were alone together. I couldn't handle anymore terrible flirting.

I looked for Ceil's scent so I knew where to go. Yes after three months I still had no clue where to go. I relied completely on my senses. I rounded the corner and sure enough saw that idiotic butler waiting there with a cart full of food.

"You're late." he said tapping his foot, "Were you up all night thinking about my offer?"

I gagged as I remembered his little proposition. I was complaining about the shower water not being hot enough and he interjected. 'We could always just shower together Alexandra. I'm sure we could both make that shower much hotter.'

"Gross." I gagged again as my mind pictured the scenario. "Definitely disgusting."

He chuckled and opened the door wheeling the cart next to Ceil's bed. I took my place next to Ceil's bed and we began our usual morning routine.

"WAKE UP! CEIL WAKE UP!"

Trust me, that was about all I was good for.

Ceil groaned and sat up, stretching his arms above his head, "You're late."

I rolled my eyes and put my hand on my hip. "Yeah cause this is such an isolated incident. It's not like I'm late every single day!"

Ceil sighed and Sebastian took my place before Ceil and I started arguing. I was happy to back up and lean against the wall. I sighed as I felt my phone vibrate against my leg, no doubt some issue from the kingdom.
