Elegantly Wasted: Sirius Black

18- Halloween Pt. 1

It was early on the day of Halloween.

Halloween had always been the Gryffindor friends favourite holiday (well... since first year at least) They loved how all of them got to spend it together, no parents, parties and getting blackout drunk.

In the girl's dorm, it was frantic. Everyone was running around with makeup and hair tools and accessories, trying to get their costumes ready for tonight.

They had all decided to go as a group costume... Sort of. All of them were going as different Divas from muggle Hollywood.

Dorcas. Marlene's Ravenclaw friend who had joined them. Was going as disco queen Donna Summer. She was wearing a long silver sequined dress that is crossed at the top giving her an appropriate amount of cleavage. She had silver strappy shoes and a gold chain choker.

Marlene was going as punk-rock legend Debbie Harry. She was wearing a yellow, blue and pink Adidas colour blocked tank top with a pair of straight-leg jeans, clear heels and a pair of sunglasses.

Alice was going as a suited-up Diane Keeting. She had on a red blouse with a bow on the collar and a pair of brown corduroy flares with the jacket to match.

Mary was going as the big and bold Diana Ross. She was wearing a blush pink satin maxi dress that was tied at the neck. She had on silver dangly earrings and red lipstick.

Lily was going as Beatles girl Jane Asher. She had on a black dress that came to about mid-thigh. The dress had a pearly sheen and white collar and cuffs with a silver belt around the waist.

Laurie was going as fashion icon, Cher. She had on a sheer dress that had rows of red, silver and gold sequins going through giving her the half-naked look. For her shoes, she had a pair of platform sandals that looked metallic.

All of the girls looked stunning. The party in the great hall started at five and ended at nine, Dumbledore had planned it and since the teachers would be there, there would be no alcohol. So to fix that little problem all of the common rooms were going to have parties after the one in the great hall.

The girls still had another hour till the party so they were just putting the finishing touches on their costumes, drowning their hair in hairspray and touching up their makeup.

"Now if I do have to say so myself, Ladies we are going to drop jaws tonight!" Marlene announced loudly.

"Marlene, I think that's probably enough of that til later," Lily said, taking the bottle of coca-cola that Marlene had filled with fire whiskey in hopes of fooling the Professors.

"Oh, Lily! It's Halloween have fun" Marlene slurred.

"I'll have fun, I'm just making sure that you will be able to have fun all night if you don't pass out from all the whiskey that is" Lily explained like a mother. A mother that allowed her daughter to drink whiskey. Responsibly.

The other girls laughed at the interaction.

In the boy's dorm, it had been much less frantic.

They decided they wanted to go as each other's animagus form.

Peter was James, James was Sirius, Sirius was Remus and Remus was Peter.

They didn't go as overboard as they normally did for Halloween, sticking to wearing the clothes of their respective boy along with ears and tails they even had gloves that looked like paws and hoofs.

"Tonight is the night boys!" said James confidently "Tonight is the night that I kiss Lily"

"Really?" asked Peter.
