Laurie and Sirius haven't spoken since a couple of days before.

It was Saturday, which meant any student in their third year or over could go to Hogsmeade.

Laurie thought it was ridiculous to be up so early on a Saturday morning.But there she was getting ready to go to Hogsmeade at 10 am.

She was wearing blue straight leg jeans and a light brown halter top that had a flower print on it-the top made her boobs look incredible. For her shoes, she was wearing chunky, white sandals with a two-inch heel and a long brown jacket.

Her hair was straight with it's usual three or four skinny plaits going through.

As she was leaving she grabbed a handbag and went downstairs, Lily and Marlene had gone already and Laurie told them she would meet them there.

She wasn't in the mood to be rushed.

Just as she was at the bottom of the stairs she was met with the one person in the whole castle who she didn't want to see.

Just to her luck, Sirius black was stood on the bottom step.

"Hi, Laurie," he said with a smile and she just looked at him with an unamused expression.

"Still not talking to me hmm?" Sirius wanted nothing more than for her to talk to him, it's not easy being ignored by the girl you fancy. He knew that now.

"Well I think I know a way to get you to" she quirked a brow at his words "If you talk to me then I'll move out of your way, if you don't however I have no problem staying here all day" he sounded so smug with his plan it made Laurie want to hit him.

She didn't say a thing, she simply gave him a look of determination that said 'i'll stay here all day if I have to'

"Alright then have it your way," he said and put both of his arms on the walls completely blocking her from pushing past either side of him.

So Laurie just sat down on one of the steps hoping eventually he would get tired of standing up and walk away.

This wasn't the case because two hours later Sirius was still standing there at the bottom of the stairs, having a full-blown conversation with himself, Laurie had to listen to him over analyse all of the lyrics of all of the songs by Queen.

"That's why Bohemian Rhapsody is the best thing mankind has ever had the pleasure of creating, don't you agree? But Killer Queen on the other hand-"

"ALIGHT" Laurie stood up "I get it alright Queen is amazing and they are both great songs but I quite frankly DONT CARE ok, Sirius I don't care I just want to get to Hogsmeade and go shopping with lily and Marlene" she shouted at him, having enough of his mindless rambling.

He smiled at her.

"What, what are you smiling for now?"

"You're talking to me" his smile grew wider.

"Yes, I am now let me off if these stupid stairs" Sirius stepped out of her way and the pair began to walk out of the common room when Laurie stopped.

She looked at Sirius and asking "what are you doing?"

"I'm going to Hogsmeade, James, Remus and Peter are waiting for me.

"Ok, and why are you walking with me?" they both began walking again.

"Because we're best mates again," he said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.He draped his arm over her shoulders and almost immediately she rolled her shoulders back to get him off.

"I'd hardly call us best mates black" there it was again 'black' it made his stomach curl.

"Can you stop calling me that?" he said with an exasperated look.

"Stop calling you what... Black"

"Seriously Laurie you make it sound like you hate me"

"I do hate you"

"Look, Laurie, I'm sorry ok I'm so very sorry, I shouldn't have ignored you it barge in on you and him"

She hated the way Sirius did that, he would refuse to even say Mulciber's name.

"Is that what this is about? Mulciber. Is that why you suddenly stopped ignoring me because I'm hanging out with Mulciber?" she sounded offended Sirius didn't know why she would be but that's how she sounded.

"What?" they were now stopped in the middle of the courtyard.

"You always do this, why can't you just be happy for me, I like Mulciber," she said.

"You don't like Mulciber" he laughed bitterly.

"I do like him"

"How could you like him laur he's a bad person I bet you are some joke that he and his crazy death eater friends thought it would be fun to see how long he can stay in your pants"

"Is that really why you think I am, a joke I mean is it that hard to imagine that someone could just like me for me why do I have to be a joke to someone" she was genuinely hurt by his insinuation that she was a joke.

"I'm not saying that someone can't like you I'm saying that he can't like you, that to him your probably a joke"

She scoffed "you're unbelievable, why can't you just be happy for me?"

With that, she stormed off and left him standing there completely bewildered. Just when he thought that he had finally gotten through to her and she was talking to him again, he had to watch her storm off after he once again made her feel shit
