Laurie sprawled her arms and legs across the bed. Her hand immediately fell to the empty spot beside her and her head looked at the clock on her bedside table that read 11:00am.

The events of the night before flooded her mind and she beamed at the thoughts. She wondered where Sirius could have gone to. Getting out of her bed and throwing a pink housecoat on she wandered downstairs.

On the table in the kitchen was an array of breakfast foods. Pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, toast, albeit some of it was burnt or just made poorly.

Sirius was proudly leant on the sink with his arms crossed over his chest and a prominent smirk spread on his lips. He was wearing Laurie's pink apron. "Good morning, my angel face."

Laurie's lips broke out in a beaming smile "You did all of this?"

"For you." He nodded.

Laurie walked over and held onto the back of one of the chairs. Sirius followed after her and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind.

"You must have gotten up early."

"Not too early. I didn't want to wake you up." Sirius leaned down and kissed her neck while she placed her hand on the side of his.

"You meant everything you said last night, right?" As much as she was overjoyed by what had happened last night, there was a thought that he did what he had done purely for mere pleasure. It would be easy to say what she wanted to hear and get what he wanted just for the holidays while they were living together.

"Of course I did." He turned her around to face him. " I meant every word."

Laurie pushed up on her toes and locked their lips together for a short but meaningful kiss. When they pulled back Laurie looked the tall boy up and down, giggling. "I can't take you seriously with that stupid apron on."

Sirius made the face that he always makes before making the 'Sirius' joke. "Don't even say it." Laurie warned.

He just laughed at her and took off the apron and threw it somewhere in the kitchen. "Is that better?"

"It siriusly is." they broke into laughter.

When the laughter stopped Laurie leaned on his chest and asked "What are we going to tell the others?"

Sirius thought for a few seconds until a mischievous look fell upon his face "We could have fun with it."

"How so?"

"We could just not tell them for a while. Wouldn't that be fun, sneaking around for a little bit?"

"We could but I don't know how exactly we would keep it from our best friends." The pair let go of each other and sat at the table beside one another to eat the food that Sirius had so graciously made.

"That's the fun in it, we don't know how to keep it from them. Anyways if they did find out it's not like it would be a big deal."

"It would be." Laurie laughed "Alright, let's do it then."

"No telling Marlene or Lily, Laur I swear."

"I won't, and no telling James."

Sirius took a bite of the burnt toast that was in Laurie's hand just as she was about to eat it. He made a face of disgust "It's burned."

Laurie laughed at the boy's reaction "You made it that way besides, I like burned toast." she took a big bite of the toast.

He pumped his fist in the air as if he had just scored a goal in Quidditch "One point to me. I'll remember that."
