Zane's POV
In the morning as we sat in the dinning room trying to start and close all the arguments we got an announcement that was made by our kidnapper.
'Okay my lovely victims, I wanted to tell you that I'm giving you five days for the next body to appear June 8, 10:30 pm. Whoever kills and get's away with that will be given a prize. I wanted to keep it a secret but I think you wouldn't kill if you didn't know what's there for you.
So........ I'll give you, your family and friends the royal life everyone wishes for, what about it? Life already set, no work. Having the time of your life to go anywhere you want and those who's lovers died, I'll give their bodies so you can burry them properly because at the end of this game they'll be thrown out in the ocean, for shark food.'He finished and monitor turned out straight away. I closed my eyes and breathe in, there it goes.
"Don't start thinking about it. First let's focus on becoming a group again, talk about what happened yesterday." Emma told standing meaning we'll go to the data room for private conversation. Luckily everyone followed without any struggle.
We sat down but surprisingly computer turned on and AI spoke.
'I have a secret recording that I made that even Nathan doesn't know. Do you want to see it?'
What? It can decide on it's own?
"Yes we do want to see it!" Emma responded and another video popped up on the screen. I pressed play and it started rolling. Nathan was sitting by the table doing something to the wrist watch he carried in this house.
'What are you doing to that watch?'
We heard a voice but I was able to recognize it as mine, it wasn't a lie. We knew each other. Nathan looked to his side and I walked in closer for camera to capture my image, getting gasp from everyone in the room.
'Nothing too much. Are you bored?
The only places I can go is cafeteria, my room, library and your office.
I'm sorry. This place never had some entertainment.'
Nathan looked at me as he smiled. He gave me the watch that he worked on.
'What time is it?'
He asked, making me in the past and present confused. Why didn't he check himself as he already had it. But nevertheless I took the watch and glanced at it.
'2 pm almost lunch time.
Yes. There aren't many guards at this time, giving us perfect opportunity to head to the roof.
Daniel comes at lunch if he sees you gone there will be a ruckus.'
Nathan looked at my past self with disappointment.
'I don't care. Let's go.'
The boy stood up grabbing my wrist to dragg me out of the room.
'The roof door is locked.'
Nathan showed a green card in his hand waving it a bit in front of my face.
'It's not locked for me.'
The younger boy smirked and this time successfully got me out of the room.
"So he didn't lie about knowing you." Hailey said.
"So that means we can trust him, this Heather man is doing something dark and he might have used Nathan to get his dreams become reality." Nevaeh suspected, wanting others to see it as well that Nathan wasn't some spy but a prisoner, locked for man's delusions.
