Nathan's POV
My eyelids were still heavy so trying to open my eyes were the biggest mission that I could ever do, not talking about my body that was laying on that soft material. I don't know why but I could move my mouth easier so I silently whispered. "Zane?" I had no clue if the mentioned male was besides me or maybe it was night and he was resting.
"Nathan, you're awake." He told. I wanted answer but I knew he didn't have them. "You were sleeping for 10 days." He lightly say.
"Did I miss anything?" I asked interested in the situation.
"No. Nothing important." He assured. "Have some more rest, don't worry about us." He said and I heard footsteps leaving the room.
"Am I blind?" I asked already knowing the answer as everything was pitch black while my eyes were wide open.
"Yes." He truthfully told. "Doctor said it was temporarily."
"Doctor?" I pushed myself to sit up but it was the dumbest decision as my head was ringing like some giant bell.
"You shouldn't move. Don't worry, you'll be fine. It's almost midnight, sleep." He reported and walked out the door. I layed down on the bed fully emerged in the pitch blackness from today on I had to live in.
Early morning
I was wide awake, who knows when and I gave myself a challenge to get out of bed, dress up and leave the room. I was inside here for one week already, I wanted out.
So the easy part climbing out of the bed was done. I almost fell down to the floor looking for my closet but I still found it. I picked some kind of shirt, pants, shoes and jacket. I might look horrendous today but I don't care.
I made my way to the shower and was able to wash myself with whatever I used. After I was done with dressing up I just messed my hair and walked out of the room. I grabbed the left wall and walked until I found stairs. It took me awhile to climb it down as I needed to get used to it.
I walked in from one room to the other as I was able to find the kitchen through the second door. I looked for a cup.
Bang....
"Upps..." I said as I heard something shatter. "It's not my fault it was in my way." I tell myself out loud. When I had a cup in front of me I looked for tea. That was quite the hilarious experience as I had to sniff everything to find it.
While filling my cup with hot water I spilled some on my hand burning it but I just ignored it as I looked for some milk inside the fridge.
I had to taste it before pouring into my cup. I finally made my tea, I got to the table and sat on the chair slowly enjoying the flavor while still thinking if I was really drinking tea.
I heard the kitchen door open and someone rushed in. "Nathan!" A girl's worried voice rang inside the space. "He's here!" She shouted to someone and it must be Zane that was looking for him.
"Nathan!" He heard that same voice. "What are you doing here?" He questioned me.
"I think, I'm drinking tea." I responded.
"What? It doesn't look like one." He told.
"No wonder. At least it tastes good." I said but pushed the tea away from me to give my full attention for the male. "Tell me what happened?" I asked.
"Nothing happened." Zane respond but I could tell from his tone it was differetly.
"Lying." I retorted certain that something was hidden from me.
