Nathan's POV
I woke up early as ever but there was no rush this time. I was lying in bed thinking about the note. I had re-read previous ones as they are still in files on the computer's desktop.
At the same time I was able to remember the nightmare I had.
Silent footsteps echoing in the empty corridor. I was running, even if I looked back there was no one there but I silently prayed to myself that no one alive saw me.
I got to the door thinking it was locked as it didn't budge for a bit. I rummaged my pockets finding only a white card. I used it on the scanner hanging on the wall next to the heavy metal door.
'Nathan!' I heard someone screaming at the top of their lungs, making me to look back but the person was still not in the view. I grabbed the handle for the second time pressing it downwards, pushing the door with my shoulder.
There I was greeted by the cold wind. The outside. I wasted no time as I set of running afraid that the male which shouted my name will show up and stop me.
How long I ran no one had clue as the forest blocked the place I was sprinting off. Even if my lungs started burning, legs aching begging for a brake I didn't stop.
I saw the end of this huge and suffocating forest delighted to see a road. As if a miracle a car stopped almost hitting me as I jumped out into the road. I fell to the ground from exhaustion. The woman driving ran up to me.
'Are you okay? What are you doing here in the middle of the night?' She asked me but I had no energy to say anything. I was glad to be out of there so my consciousness slipped away.
I opened my eyes after recalling everything. I don't know what happened after this, it wasn't some kind of movie to watch. I breathed in pulling myself to sit up. It was warm under the covers however the dream kept my mind busy and I wanted to focus on the notes.
I had to get out of the bed. Sadly.
Today I thought of doing something different. I'm going to the computers room. Play of some time to get my focus back on track.
I got into a quick shower. I dressed up in black clothes which I thought was unlike me. The kidnapper thought of this as a game but I have no clue what games all about. Why are they interesting? Did humans want to pretend as if they saved the world, thinking they are heroes of the history or do they hate life that much. So they emerge themselves into fake reality that'll never happen.
I skipped to the kitchen making myself tea for my unfortunate luck Zane walked in with Kevin and Anthony.
I smiled to the two before filling my cup with hot water. "Morning, Nathan." Kevin lively greeted me.
"Morning." I answered back taking the milk out of the fridge and pouring it inside my black tea before putting it back into the coldness it belongs to.
"What are you up for today?" Anthony asked wanting to make a conversation.
"Resting." I respond shortly taking my cup and walking towards the door.
"See you?" Kevin said, I was able to hear confusion in his voice letting that high enery from earlier to sink.
"Yeah." I brushed off walking out of the heavy room. I got to my destined place turning on the main computer. It took less time to roam to life.
There I was looking through a bunch of games thinking how to decide which to play. As all of them were downloaded to the memory I had no description about them and internet was none existent.
