Lion emerges out of a portal in front of Connie's house, with Steven and and Connie riding on his back and laughing. Connie then dismounts Lion.

"Well... time to assume my secret identity." She puts on her lenseless glasses.

"Same time next week for sword training?" Steven asks her.

"Yeah. It's a shame I can't practice more at home." Connie says as she pets Lion.

"Hey! Wait a sec." Steven says as he jumps off of Lion and turns to him. "May I?"

Lion tilts his head down and Steven pulls out Rose's Sword from his forehead. Connie gasps as Steven kneels before her, presenting the sword. "Here-ethhh. You can borrow-ethhhh my mother's sword- ethhhh." Steven say while imitating a medieval accent.

"Steven! That's so nice! If grammatically incorrect, but..." Connie now also starts to imitates a medieval accent too. "Thou can't just givest me thine mother's sword!"

"Why not? - ethhh?" Steven asks.

"Because it's really important-eth." Connie tells him.

Connie unlocks the door to her house, and she and Steven walk inside.

"That's exactly why you should have- ethhh it! You can have all week to practice- ethhh withhh it- ethhhhhh." Steven says now

Connie  just laughs. "Thhhhhhhh-ank you!"

Steven hands Connie the sword. "We gotta be ready if we have to fight Malachite or Peridot or those creepy gem fusion experiments." Steven says before he shivers.

"But what about Y/n? Shouldn't you be giving this to him?" Connie ask now as she looks at the sword in her hands.

"Well Y/n already has a sword. He says he like's using that more because it' suits his style of combat...or something like that." Steven tells her now.

"Then I'll make sure nothing happens to it." Connie says now  but the two hear a garage door opening. "That's the garage door. Mom's home! We have to hide the sword, there's no way Mom would let me have this in the house."

Steven quickly turn to look around. "Lion?" He asks only to see Lion was gone. "Lion!? He walked off!"

"What are we gonna do?" Connie asks worried.

Dr. Maheswaran walks into the living and finds Connie and Steven sitting on the couch. Connie is playing her violin while Steven is sitting anxiously.

"Hi, Mom. Just finishing my 6 o'clock violin practice." Connie says.

"You should've finished that 5 minutes ago. You're late for your 7 o'clock study hour." Her mom tells her before she turns to Steven. "Hello, Steven."

"Hi, Dr. Maheswaran." Steven says nervously.

"How are you?" Dr. Maheswaran asks.

"Sitting!" Steven  answers nervously

Dr. Maheswaran just sighs now. "I had a rough day at work and I'm not in the mood for any more surprises."

"What happened at work?" Connie asks.

Dr. Maheswaran takes off her coat. "There was a really strange case at the Hospital today." She starts as she hangs her coat on a "coat rack"  "Straight out of a nightmare... Oh, don't worry, the rules of doctor-patient confidentiality keep me from sharing the graphic details but- Hang on a moment. When did we get a coat rack?" She asks and takes her coat off the "coat rack" to reveal it was Steven's Mom's sword.
