Steven, Y/n, Amethyst and Peridot were hiding behind a cliff to spy on Jasper.
"Jasper!" Steven says worried.
"What is she doing?" Peridot asks.
"It looks like she's been collecting these gems, building an army." Y/n comments.
"Pipe down!" Jasper's voice loudly sounds as she kicks a growling Snow Monster in its cage and the four gasp in shock.
"You take orders from me now!" Jasper says to the Snow monster. "You used to be a Quartz too, didn't you? What happened to you?"
The Snow Monster growls and slams against the metal bars in fury.
"Tch." Jasper clicks her teeth. "Disgraceful. I can't believe I've resorted to recruiting you freaks! You're almost as bad as that Crystal runt."
Amethyst just growls and grits her teeth.
"Just look at you." Jasper says as she looks at the Snow Monster. "This planet ruins everything! Well, haha, except for me."
"We should go back to the Temple and grab reinforcements. Peridot quietly says to the others now.
"I agree, I can grab my sword from Lion's mane then and we could also get Pearl and Garnet." Y/n suggests.
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Steven agrees.
"Amethyst?" Steven turns his head and finds that Amethyst is gone, and he and Peridot silently scream in horror.
"Amethyst!" Y/n whisper shouts to her and Steven and Peridot look up to spot Amethyst on a ledge above Jasper, shuffling along it toward her as Jasper continues to taunt the Snow Monster.
"I'll never let this planet twist me like it twisted you. Your weakness embarrasses Homeworld. You suffer because it's what you deserve! We all only get what we deserve. Right, Amethyst?!" Jasper asks as she quickly turns around.
Amethyst gasps, as she has been discovered, and falls off the ledge, landing behind Jasper. "Agh!"
"What do you want, runt?" Jasper asks Amethyst. "You here for a rematch?"
"I'm here to win!" Amethyst says determined.
"You were fated to lose, the moment you came out wrong!"
Steven runs to Amethyst's side. "That's not true!"
"Rose. Of course." Jasper says unimpressed. "Your lackeys never stray far. And why would they? They have no place in this, or any world!"
"What do you mean?!" Steven asks.
"Every Gem is made for a purpose, to serve the order of the Diamonds. Those who cannot fit inside this order must be purged! To come out misshapen, to reshape yourself outside your purpose, and to defend this ruined worthless planet, is a disgrace!"
"This planet isn't all bad!" Peridot says timidly now as Jasper looks up and Peridot gasps and hides behind Y/n's leg.
"What are you doing here?" Jasper asks annoyed.
"I... I'M A CRYSTAL GEM NOW!!" Peridot shouts.
Jasper instantly summons her crash helmet, and Steven summons his shield.
"I'm not afraid of you!" Peridot says confidently peeking out from Y/n's leg. "I've got metal powers! I'll show you!"
Peridot begins to manipulate a metal rod stuck in the ground. Jasper, Y/n, Amethyst and Steven watch as Peridot struggles to lift the metal rod.
