Ch 13. The Demon Dragon

I got out of the room and search for the rest of the team. The ground still shakes, and I hear the howling continue. Some rocks from the ceiling are starting to falling. I hear some of the guards running away past the hall. Soon, I found my teammates also running the halls.

Pietro immediately runs towards me when he sees me and gives me a hug. "Y/N- Y/N, you're alright?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." I reassure him. He stops hugging me and I see the rest of the team. "My sister won't be a problem anymore."

"That's nice and all, but do you know what's going on?" Sam asks. He got his suit and his weapons back. As well as the rest of the team.

"I guess they summon Loptyr." I answer him.

"Then let's search for them." Steve says, looking at us with confidence.

Before we leave, Pietro leans towards me and return me my pistol. "Got you a gift. Now let's kill that dragon."

From the end of the hallway is a T-split. From the left side, scared guards are running away towards the right hallway. "I guess the left side is the dragon." Wanda comments.

And so, we begin running towards where the sound is coming from. After a minute of running in worry and desperation for wanting to stop what is going to happen, in the back of a hallway is a door, one that is more heavenly enforced. Steve is in the front and went to the doorknob and open it. We go inside and we're in a room which seems like a test room. In front of us are big windows which divide us and the test subject, however, the test subject room is filled with red gas. In our room are six guards monitoring whoever the test subject is. They immediately look at us when we come in and pull their guns towards us. We draw our guns and immediately eliminate the guards.

"I don't like where this is going." Wanda sighs.

Steve and Nat are walking towards one of the monitors. There are eyes immediately went wide. "They are using the Pym particles!" Steve says worriedly.

Scott immediately looks surprise. "Shit!"

"Turn off the gas and turn on the vents!" Nat orders to us.

We all run towards one of the monitors and turn off the gas and turn on the vents. We continue to hear a howl in the test room. The gas is slowly dying down when suddenly a giant shadow coming towards the window and makes a dent. We all yelp.

"What the hell was that?!" Sam looks intense at the windows.

The gas slowly goes away, and we see a giant, familiar shadow. I focus on what the shadow is and from the shape I see that it is Loptyr.

"It's Loptyr." I look at my teammates. They look worriedly at me and look back at Loptyr. "They're making him bigger."

The gas slowly goes away, and we see a ridiculously giant chamber that is several floors down. The chamber also shares its size in length and width. We can see the dragon slowly appear from the smoke. They share the same features from the dead one we found in the bloody palace. Same crimson scales and he has deep black eyes with a tinned red. He also has the same grey horns and black claws. The only difference is the size, which he got from the Pym particles.

"How are we going to kill this thing?" Nat gasps.

The gas disappears completely and suddenly the dragon becomes berserk. In the ceiling is a big hatch, which he begins to open with his claws.

"He's getting away!" Steve yells.

Without a second thought, I draw out my gun with my left hand. I shoot against the window, and it breaks. With Anzu on my shoulders and Mystletainn in my right hand, I begin to charge towards the dragon and jump towards the dragon.
