Ch 17. The Blip

3rd person P.O.V

After the disappearance of Y/N and Pietro, the mind stone landed in a forest near the battlefield and the building. Vision, who escaped after the aliens broke in and disrupt the surgery, sees the stone. He quickly flies towards the stone before the aliens could catch it. He decided to hide in the forest. He looks at the stone tiredly, he wonders how he survived without the stone in his head. Soon, he gets join by Thanos' generals.

The alien with a spear hits Vision and another bigger alien hit him with a hammer. Vision falls a few feet away, but quickly regain his control and sit up. He looks anxiously up and see Bruce with the Hulkbuster armer landing down in front of him. He points his hand towards both aliens. "Ohh no, oh no you don't. This isn't going to be like New York, pal. This suits already kicked the crap out of the Hulk-" The giant alien swings his hammer against Bruce, and he fly away, also with the big alien.

The general swing his spear at Vision and made sure the hold the stone tightly, he quickly dodges it but the general swing the spear again and stabbed Vision through the body. Vision looks in horror at the alien.

"I thought you were formidable, machine. But you're dying, like any man." The aliens remove the spear and Vision yelps. He falls on his back against the ground. He begins to lose his control of his body.

As the alien try to grab the stone from Vision's hand, Steve run towards the alien and take him down. They fall on the ground and Steve looks desperate at Vision. "Get outta here!" He turns back at the alien, who begins to stand up. As the aliens tries to attack Steve, he retaliates by giving two punches against his enemy's head. He quickly turns his head around. "GO!"

They continue fighting each other. Steve manages to knock the spear from the aliens' hands. However, the alien manages to push Steve against the ground. The alien back turn to Vision and begin to choke Steve. Luckily, Vision regains his strength, grab the spear that Steve knocked away and stab the alien in the chest. Vision looks tiredly at the alien who is impaled and drop his body. Steve sees Visions fatigued face and fall. Steve quickly sits up and help Vision.

"I thought I told you to go." Steve comments.

"We don't trade lives, Captain."

The rest of the team that remained immediately go where Vision is. He's sits against a fallen tree branch. Wanda uses her powers to land on the ground. She looks worriedly at Vision and quickly move towards him. "Are you okay?" Before Vision could answer, the infinity stone in his hand light up. Vision looks worried at it. "What? What is it?"

Vision looks paranoidly around. "He's here."

The wind begins to kick in. Some leaves are flying around. Steve knows what is going to happen and set his hand on his earpiece. "Everyone, on my position. We have incoming."

Natasha and Sam also look around, feeling the odd atmosphere. Nat looks suspicious at what's going to happen. "What the hell?" Okoye and T'Challa also look around.

Bruce, in the Hulkbuster armor look around, seeing a blue rift with some mist and electricity coming out of it. Soon, Thanos reveal himself from the rift. Wanda quickly readies her magic and Vision, who is sitting against a branch, looks worried at Thanos. The rest of their allies look at Thanos, who is looking back at them. "Cap. That's him." Bruce says to him.

Steve readies his shield and look determent at his enemy. "Eyes up. Stay sharp." Steve begins to charge into the field.

Thanos walks towards them. Bruce charge towards him and about to punch him, however Thanos uses one of the stone to let Bruce past him. Thanos looks behind him and see Bruce mashing up with the rock wall. Thanos return back and doesn't look bothered. Steve is about to jump in against Thanos, but he uses one of the stone to push Steve away with gravity. Black Panther also jumps in, but Thanos grab him by the neck and punches him in the face. T'Challa falls against the ground. Sam begins to fly in and shoot at him. Thanos uses one of the stone to broke Sam's wings.
