Ch 27. A Soul For A Soul

We arrive at Morag, the planet that looks like a wasteland. The thunderclouds are in the sky, blocking the sun which barely shines through. Nebula is currently in a big spaceship which she found around here. Within it, she releases a little spaceship, which we are going to travel with. The spaceship is little, but big enough to let us travel to Vormir.

"Steady Nebula, steady." Rocket comments through the radio while Nebula puts the little spaceship on the ground. She successfully did.

We all stand near the spaceship. Nebula is landing the ship she's in nearby and gets out. Steve turns towards us. "Remember, we split up in teams on two. Me, Tony, Thor, Nebula, Scott and Rocket go to Quill and get the power stone. The second team, Natasha, Clint, Vision, Bruce, Pietro and Y/N go to Vormir and get the soul stone."

Nebula walks towards us. Steve turns around to see her. "I just want to say one thing to the second team. 5 years ago, Thanos went to Vormir with my sister, Gamora, but came back with the soul stone, without Gamora." We slightly stiffen up when she explains the situation to us. "Thanos sacrificed her to achieve his goals. Remember that."

We all nod, understanding what's going to happen. I turn my head towards Y/N, who stands next to my right. I slide my hand in his. "Promise me you will survive, whatever happens."

Y/N slightly looks back at me. "I promise."

"Alright people, these are the last two stones." Tony is in the middle of the group. "We're almost done with our journey. This is going to be one of those stories we should tell the ones that aren't with us now." He smiles at us with excitement.

Steve smiles at Tony. "You took the words right out of my mouth."

Tony looks back at Steve. "I learned from the best."

There was an intimate look between them for two seconds till Steve broke it and turns back at us. "It's time for us to go. I wish you all success."

Me, Y/N, Vision, Nat, Clint and Bruce walks towards the little spaceship. Before we go, Y/N wished his father goodbye. The coordinates are already set. We go in the spaceship. We all sit on the seats. Nat and Clint are taking the wheel, behind them are Bruce and Vision while me and Y/N are in the back. The ship starts up. We fly up in the sky and go into space, towards Vormir.

There was a silence in the ship, not wanting to talk about what Nebula, till Vision breaks it. "About what Nebula said, do you think we need to trade one of our lives for the stone."

There was a quietness till somebody responds. "Let's deal with that when we get to that point." Bruce responds.

Vision looks at Bruce and nods. The ride took minutes, but thanks to the fast spaceship, we arrive at the planet. We're currently landing. We all look at the planet. It looks pretty peaceful. There is a sunset with multiple small lakes with sand all around. There is also a big mountain in the middle of the land. The ship landed and we come out of it. We all look at the mountain.

"There it is, the soul stone." Nat comments.

We all look at it for a while, somewhat feeling odd how much we accomplished in such a small time. "It's time we finish it." I say.

Everybody turns their heads at me and nod. We begin to walk towards the mountain. Nat, Bruce and Clint are in the front. Me, Y/N and Vision are behind them, though Y/N is somewhat in front of us.

"Hey Vision, we don't get a chance to talk." I turn my head on my right, looking at Vision.

He looks back at me. "Is there something you want to talk about?"
