Ch 26. Facing Reality

We arrive back in New York, back in the same alley way we left Scott and Rocket. Pietro put us back on the floor and we regrow back in our size.

"We got the cube." Tony smirks at Scott and Rocket, who look curiously at us. I held up the case and opens it, showing them the proof.

"Thank god." Scott groans.

"Then we have two stones." Rocket says.

"Make that three." We look towards in entrance of the alley way, seeing Bruce, Clint, Natasha, Vision, Thor and Nebula. "We got the time stone." Bruce smiles.

"With some troubles." Natasha mutters.

Bruce returns a look back at Natasha. "Please don't mention that."

"I wouldn't do that, but now you beg for it..." Clint teases.

"Don't." Bruce looks at Clint. The 6 people walk towards us.

Vision sighs. "Perhaps we should continue our mission. We're already have half of them." Bruce shows the green time stone, which is in his right hand. He gives it to Steve.

"We are going to Asgard for the reality stone." Nebula says.

Thor sighs somewhat in a sad tone. I can notice this he's going to be hard for him. Steve looks around his teammates. "Let's go."

After Pietro puts us in his pocket after we shrunk. We soon arrive in Asgard 2013. Pietro sets us on the ground, and we unshrink. We're in a forest, but I can see the Asgardian palace.

"Let's make a plan." Steve comments. We all begin to stand in a circle. "Thor, the stone is now the 'Aether', right? Which is inside Jane?"

Thor stay quiet for a second. "...Yes."

"Alright, since you know your way around here, why you don't find the stone." Steve says. He quickly notices Thor odd behavior and changes his mind. "If you don't mind."

"R-right." Thor comments.

Natasha looks somewhat worried at Thor. She returns back at us. "How about more people will be alongside him? We need people who can navigate the place without easily spotted."

"I go." Rocket comments. He looks at my dad. "Give me the device that suck the Aether out of the girl."

My dad grabs the strange device and give it to Rocket. The device as an empty vial, where the Aether is going to be. "Knock yourself out."

Rocket let out a mischievous laugh. Scott looks at Rocket. "...I think it's best I go as well."

"I can go as well." Pietro speaks up. "My speed can help the rest if things go south."

"Then we have a team." Vision comments. "It's for the best if they went with a small team. Four people should be enough."

"And what will the rest do?" Nebula asks.

"I dunno." Tony answers. "We can chat?"

Steve sighs. "Guess the rest of us should wait."

Pietro turns towards me and kiss me on the cheek. "I see you later." I smile at him. He returns back at the rest. "Thor, Rocket, Scott, let's go." They group up and move towards the palace, leaving the 8 of us alone in the forest.
