▹ Definitely just water

:: so, it was george's birthday on the 13th but i just haven't been doing great so i had little to no motivation at all. so, i apologise for the late birthday chapter but here it is<3

LED lights that surround the ceiling of George's studio switch from green to purple at the same time as Happy Birthday began blasting through the speakers. Two seconds into the song, George Lee struts into view with a cake shaped hat on his head and a pair of circle shaped glasses that said 'Happy' and 'Birthday' on the top of each lens.

In his hands, a BB themed cake that his step mother had baked specifically for him. His family were to leave Korea in a week, and so, she spent hours baking the BT21 character birthday cake to perfection. Dancing on the spot to the song, George suddenly pulled a Meena from 'Sing' and began to belt out the lyrics over the song, making sure to add in a high note.

"Happy Birthday to me~" He finished off with a proud smile before placing down the cake and sat in his chair. "Hey ARMY, how ya doin?'."

Whilst the replies rolled in, George adjusted his hat and then pushed up his glasses.

"Don't I look cool? I stole them from Chaehyun."

Now, no one who knew Chaehyun could be surprised that he owned the hat and glasses, and absolutely no one in that live was the slightest bit shocked that George happened to steal them.

In that very moment, George got a phone call.

Upon seeing the caller ID, George chuckled and turned his phone so that the viewers could see who it was.

"Hi Chaehyunnie!" George sang.

"I cannot believe you stole my birthday hat and glasses after telling me how lame they were!" The thick British accent comes through the line, speaking in full English.

"No, Charlie said they were lame. I simply just nodded."

"Same difference! You still agreed that they were lame. You're like a trillionaire, why are you stealing? Everyone, everyone! Trend that he's a thief! Get him cancelled and give me his fame, thanks."

With that, the phone went dead. George stared down at the device for a second before tossing it onto his desk with a laugh.

"I'm not a thief, I just borrowed them."

Moving on from the topic, George reached out and grabbed the cake, he lifted it up close so everyone watching could get a good look at the details.

"My family are moving from Korea next week, so my step mum spent literally so much time creating this BB cake, and I think she did a pretty amazing job." He turned the cake in different angles, a proud smile on his face. "I will miss them, but I'm grateful she did this for me."

Safely placing the cake back down, George then reached over and grabbed the lighter. His mother had placed in the candles herself knowing that if George did it, he would make a mess. He took off his glasses and placed them aside before pressing down on the lighter to create the fire. He then, lit the candles.

His middle finger reached over to tap play and the Birthday Song began playing again. Once it was over, George closed his eyes and blew out the candles, only to be smacked with smoke. Coughing, he dramatically batted it away from him.

"Listen, I'm old now. My lungs aren't as strong as they used to be."

Once the smoke was all gone, George let out a breath. "So, are you guys ready for Valentine's Day tomorrow?"

He leaned in close, eyes scanning the chat. He chuckled at several Valentine proposals.

"If you're single, don't worry. You always have us to spend your day with!" He attempted to cheer the single Army up. He had spent so many years alone on Valentine's Day, and it was never a nice feeling.

In that moment, someone banged on his door. Surprised by the sudden company, he leaned back in his chair to try and make out who it was before they walked in.

"Georgie!" The familiar yell of J-Hope spilt into the room, making George's smile widen. His eyes practically sparkled at the sight of his Sunshine.

"Instagram King!"

Hoseok blushed at the name, laughing loudly with a slap to George's shoulder.

As expected, J-Hope found the cake hat on George's head extremely comical. Carefully, he slid the hat off and placed it on his own head before leaning behind George to get a view of himself in the live.

"Where did you get this?"

"Stole-borrowed, I borrowed it from Chae."

As J-Hope began posing in the hat behind him, George was pleasantly surprised at how much the silly hat happened to suit Hoseok. The man could pull anything off at this point, and George was sure of it.

"I got you something."

George pouted in confusion as J-Hope moved to the door, he reached outside and grabbed something before reentering the room with Soju in his hands. George screamed happily.

George Lee loves his alcohol.

At his reaction, Hoseok laughed loudly and passed a bottle over to him which George wasted no time in opening. He moved the bottle under the table so the viewers couldn't see and opened it, before leaning down to take a sip

"They're going to be so confused."

George wiped his mouth and sat up. "I am drinking water."

Everyone knew he was not drinking water.

"Hey, Hope. Do you want some of my water?" He asked, sounding extremely suspicious.

"Yes. I will have some water." Hoseok didn't sound any more convincing as he too then disappeared from the frame.

The two erupted into a fit of giggles at their antics like two school boys who were breaking the rules for the first time.

"Shit-" George slammed a hand over his mouth, the curse word toppled out before he could stop it. The two stared at the camera for a moment, frozen in place ( literally like 👁👄👁 ) before George started laughing again. "You spilt it."

"Really?" Hoseok looked down and saw that he had in fact spilt the liquor. "Oh it's on my shoe too."

George pressed his lips together and turned back to the live. "It's just water though, we can wipe it easy."

Yeah let's just say, they aren't the best actors in the world and ended up getting a scolding from their managers after that live ended.

the ending is a little rushed. i have never been good at writing vlive chapters for some reason :/ but let me know if you want me to do a twitter reaction chapter to the live.
