Levi makes his way to the mess hall of regiment headquarters. Today was the day he was finally gonna make Fable his. He's gonna ask her to be his. He opens the door to the hall and peers down at the all members. His eyes went to the honey blonde sitting and talking with the new recruits as always. "Wiltson!" he calls watching her jump a little, "my office!" "Coming Captain Levi," Fable says looking up at him with her chestnut brown eyes, "I'll see you kids later." She gets up from the table grabbing the pile of books. She climbs the wooden stairs to Levi who was holding the door open. She steps through the doorway with Levi shutting the door behind them. Fable follows the captain with thoughts of what this could be about. The walk was silent and awkward. Levi's plan was in motion but was causing him to get nervous the closer the two get to his office. He turns the door knob to his office and opens the door. "After you," he says letting her go in first. Levi shuts the door behind them. "Is this about me sweeping the dirt in the library underneath the rug in there?" Fable asks looking at him, "if it is I can go clean it up. It's just I seen I really good book and I couldn't wait to read it." Levi eyes widens and then glares at her. "No that's not about that but it should be," he says walking over to his desk, "I need to talk to you about something." Fable watches as Levi fumbles with the papers on his desk. "Oh umm well I don't know what else you want to talk about," she says looking at him. He takes a deep breath before saying, "I like you." "Oh I like you too Captain," she says smiling softly. Levi looks at her and says, "not like that you brat, don't be an idiot." Fable eyes widens and feels her face get red. "Oh," she says looking at him. "Well," he says looking back at her. "I mean I like you too," Fable says with a smile, "but." Levi looks at her confused and says, "but?" "You're my squad leader and captain," she says sitting on one of the chairs in the room. Levi watches her and says, "you don't want people to think the wrong idea." Fable looks up at him and says, "Yeah kind of." He sighs looking down. "Very well," he says straightening a pen on his desk. Fable looks at the side and says, "we don't have to tell anyone." Levi glances over at her. "You're an idiot," he says looking at the door. "I'm being serious Levi," she says watching his face. "I know you are," he says looking down at her, "it'll never work." Fable looks at him and says, "it will if you want it to work." Levi looks at her saying, "then we don't tell anyone." "We don't tell anyone." "Now go clean underneath that rug in the library," he says looking at her. "Oh yes of course," she says getting up from the chair, "I'll see you later, sir." Levi watches her leave his office. "It's not going to work," he says looking down at his paperwork.
