Chapter 33

  A couple days had passed since the scouts return. Fable was sitting in Levi's office finally getting to finish the book she started months ago. She lays on her back on the couch reading pages. She looks over the book hearing the door open. She smiles seeing Levi in his dress uniform.
                "Go get ready we have a state meeting," Levi says looking at her.
                She stands up looking at him and says, "yes , Captain."
               "I gotta get Eren and Mikasa out of their cells," he says watching as she walks over to him, "I'll meet you with everyone else."
              "Okay have fun," she says kissing him gently, "also you look rather handsome in your uniform."
              "Go Fable," he says looking at her.
               "Right sorry," she says
               Fable walks back to her room. She opens the door and was greeted by her cat. She smiles picks her up. She buries her face into the fur before setting the animal on her bed. Fable looks at the painting of her mom on her dresser before she starts getting ready for the meeting. She puts on her dress uniform and then pulls her hair into a ponytail. Fable then joins the others at the meeting room. She sits next on the other side of Hange.
After a few days, the word got out about the titans actually being Eldians. Fable spent the days leading to the military ceremony, reading mostly to keep her mind occupied. On the day of the ceremony, Fable stands in the room filled soldiers from all the branches. She stands listening to the kids arguing about rather who should've been revived. She looks over at Levi and sighs.
"Levi," she says softly looking at him.
He looks over at her and then walks over to the kids to let them know it's time. Fable follows closely behind everyone. She then kneels down behind Levi and Hange, hand placed over her heart.
At the end of ceremony, Levi stands watching everyone mingle and give congratulations to his troops. His ears start to perk up when he hears the MPs behind him talking about Fable.
"There she is," one says, "she's even hotter in person."
"Hey Captain," he hears one call for him.
"What?" Levi asks turning around to face them.
"When are you going to hand over Wiltson to the MPs," the first one says looking at him, "we want to have fun with her."
Levi jaw clenches. He looks at the MPs in front of him.
"Wiltson!" He calls over to her was she talking with couple MPs herself.
"I didn't think you'd actually do it Captain Levi," the MP says watching Fable.
Levi looks at Fable and then at the MPs. He then back at Fable. He's not going to do it.
"Captain?" the girl asks looking at him confused.
He sighs looking at Fable. He was going to do it. Levi's lips crashes into Fable.
Levi looks back at the MPs holding her and says, "say some shit like that about her again. I'll break every single bone in you bodies."
He then pulls Fable away from them.
"What the hell just happened?" she asks looking at him.
Levi looks at her and says, "MPs wanted fun time with you and I had to make it clear that you are mine."
Fable raises an eyebrow and looks over his shoulder to see the MPs still looking at them. She places a kiss against his lips then walks over to the MPs.
"Hey there blondie change your mind?" one asks looking down at her.
Her hands ball up in a fist and she sends flying to his face without a second thought.
"I wouldn't sleep with you a disgusting MP like you," she says walking away from them.
Levi smirks watching the girl walk back to him. He looks back at the MPs. He feels Fable place her hand into his.
"Oh my god what was the reasoning for that?" the two hear Hange question behind them.
"They wanted me to hand Fable over for some fun," he says glancing at them.
                    "You should've, she needs more friends," Hange states looking at them.
"Not that kind of fun Hange," Levi says.
Fable stands there looking at them and then says, "hey I have friends."
"You're cat, Levi, and I don't count," Hange replies
"Yeah you guys do unless you don't consider me as your guys friend," she says looking at them.
"Hange," Levi says looking at them, "no more."
The three leave the room together. They silently walk down the hallway.
"Fable that was a nice punch though," Hange says looking at the girl.
"Yeah thank you," she says to the new commander, "the look on the other two's faces was priceless."
"No their faces when Levi kissed was even better," Hange says as he opens the door to his office, "they looked like they just went to hell and back."
"I almost put him there," Levi mumbles walking into his office.
The two start laughing at Levi's comment while sitting down on the couch. Levi sits at his desk.
"I guess our next mission is seeing what's on the other side of the wall," Hange says looking at them.
"Let's go to the sea," Fable says looking at everyone, "the kids talk about it all the time. Plus I think it'll be good for all us have a little break."
                   Levi looks up from doing his paperwork and says, "why are you guys looking at me?"
                   "Because you're mister grump and don't like to have fun," Fable says raising an eyebrow.
                    "She has a point Levi," Hange says confirming what Fable says.
                     "Hange you're the commander you make the calls not me," he says going back to his paperwork.
                    "So we go to the sea, after we get rid of all the titans inside of Wall Maria," Hanga says standing up.
                   Fable watches them leave the room. Her attention turns back to Levi smiling.
                 "We get to see the sea," she says cheering slightly.
