The two get to where the rest of the scouts. Fable and Levi hears two men arguing about leaving their comrades behind. Levi sighs and walks over to them. The girl smiles softly before making her way to get looked at. She sits on the back of a wagon letting Hange check out her injuries. "You like Levi don't you," Hange says looking at her. Fable eyes widen and she can feel her face get red. "Umm I mean he's alright," she says stuttering a bit. "You do I can tell by your face," the glasses wearer says, "and I can tell he has a sweet spot for you as well." "Oh," Fable says watching them. "Trust me when I say the way he looks at you is not how he sees everyone else," Hange says finishing wrapping her side. "Hange stop harassing the girl," Fable hears Levi say walking over to them. "Ahh well I can tell you have a few broken ribs but I'm going to need to do a full exam once we get back," Hange says looking at the two them, "oh and she's going to need to either ride with you Levi, in a wagon, or she's going to have walk. We don't have any spares that being said I'll leave you two be until we leave." Fable watches Hange walk backwards making faces at the two of them before looking back up at Levi. "Thank you," she says softly smiling at him, "Hange is onto us." "Well it was gonna be sooner or later," Levi says looking around shifting his weight. Fable watches Levi and looks at his leg. "Darling I'm fine," he says sitting down next to her, "compared to you I'm great." "You're hurt," she says softly. "and I'll be fine," he says. Fable watches as someone brought Levi his horse. "We're about to leave Captain," he says as Levi gets up. "Thank you," he says motioning for Fable to get on. Fable watches as the man leave them and then says, "Levi I can walk." "Not like that come on," he says as he helps her onto his horse. He follows suit and sits in front of her. Fable wraps her arms around his waist. "People are going to start talking," she whispers to him. "Let them," he says softly to her as he walks his horse behind to Erwin's and next to Hange's. Fable turns to look at the cart carrying the bodies of her friends before resting her check against Levi's back. She looks at Hange who was geeking out at this interaction. She closes her eyes as she hears yelling in the distance. Fable turns to look behind her just as red flares were being shot off. "Those idiots," Levi says softly, "Hange." "Yup I got her," the woman says, "come here Fable." Levi brushes his hand against thigh as Fable carefully makes her way over to Hange. She watches Levi run to the back of the group. "You guys are more just leader and member aren't you," she hears Hange say softly, "don't worry I won't tell anyone." The group make back inside the walls. Fable looks at the ground listening to everyone shouting at them. Then she notices a man, Petra's father, run up to Levi talking to him about Petra's letters about him and marriage. The girl feels her eyes fill with tears not about what her father was saying but that he doesn't know anything about his daughter yet. She closes her eyes taking a deep breath drowning out the noise.
