Fable walks until she finds not Eren but Hange. She takes a deep breath and walks over to them. "Hange," she whispers looking with tears in her eyes. "Hey," Hange replies, "what did Levi do?" "Nothing it's what I might do," she answers looking at the ground. "What are you talking about?" "I might have to end things." "What?" "With Levi." "Fable you love him why." "I know that's why I need to do it," Fable says nodding at them, "I thought I could do the whole secret thing but." "But you're afraid of what'll happen once word spreads," Hange adds sighing again, "I understand." "I can't look at him when I do it." "I'll do it for you don't worry," they say pulling Fable into a hug, "it'll be okay. You'll be in my squad until he fully heals anyways." "Thank you Hange," Fable replies pulling away from her. "Of course, Eren is outside by the way," Hange says walking towards Levi's office. Fable takes a moment before heading outside finding Eren outside with the rest of the recruits. They were sitting underneath a tree talking. "Hey guys," she says joining them. She looks up noticing that the tree had a view of inside Levi's office. "Hey Fable," Eren says. The girl didn't say anything in return. She just looks up at the window watching Hange break the news to Levi. She watches as Levi faces drops and then makes immediate eye contact with her. Fable looks away and starts playing with the grass. "What's wrong Fable?" she hears Eren ask. "Oh nothing just a long day," she says looking at him. "Are you and Captain Levi a thing or something?" she hears Jean she thinks to say, " I don't know I just heard other people talking about it." "No," she says shaking her head, "dinner should be ready we should get going." "Jean, why would you ask her that?" Eren asks looking at him. "It's okay Eren come on," she says as the five of them walk back into the building. The group walks into the mess hall to see Levi sitting at a table with Erwin, Hange, and a few other squad leaders. Fable looks around to people looking at her and whispering. She sighs slightly turning on her heels and walking out of the mess hall. "Hey wait aren't you going to eat?" she hears Eren say. Fable heads straight to her bedroom. She shuts the door and just sits on her bed. She brings her knees to her chest and cries. At this moment she just wants her best friend back. Someone who would just keep her company but won't say anything. Levi sits across from Hange eating his dinner or what he could. They keep kicking his shin motioning to the doors as if to tell him to check on Fable. He just glares at them. Every once in a while he notices someone looking over at him but nothing like when Fable walked in. Maybe he should check on her but he's pretty sure that's the last thing the girl wants, especially after the news he got from Hange. He finishes his tea and then gets up to leave. Hange immediately followed. "She wasn't wrong about people talking," Hange says to him. "I'm not going to check on her Hange," Levi mentions "Well it doesn't hurt to," they say as they walk by her. Levi stands there for a minute listening to the girl cry on the other side of it. He looks at the door handle. All he wanted to do was to go in there and hold her but he couldn't, he knew that. "Poor girl," Hange says as they start walking away from the door, "she did love Levi I want you to know that." "You go check on her," Levi says looking at them. "Huh?" they say looking at him. "Go check on Fable please," he says opening the door to his room, "she needs someone." "What about you?" Hange asks "I'm okay." Levi walks into the room and shuts the door behind him.
