"Wake up brat," Fable hears Levi say. Fable groans opening her eyes. She sits up glaring at him. "Come on we gotta keep moving," he says. She looks to see almost all her stuff was packed up already she just needed to put her bed up. She stands up rolling up the padding. "Figured I'd let you sleep a little longer and packed your things for you," he says watching her ODM gear on, "we just gotta wait for the others to come back with the supplies we need." "You woke me up to wait," she says looking at him. Fable sits next to him on the ground with her bag next to her. She leans into him drawing shapes in the ground with a stick she found. Levi watches her for a few minutes. Then they hear footsteps coming. Fable looks over to the others coming back. "Captain we got the supplies," Jean calls to him. "Hear Captain the MPs were handing out this flyer," Armin says handing Levi the paper, "if this is true the scouts will be disbanded. They'll be hunting for us in the mountains tonight and they're posting guards at all the vital roads no one can get through them without a pass. So Captain what now?" Fable looks over his shoulder reading the paper and then looks at Levi. "We need to find Eren," Mikasa says looking at him. Fable glances over at her and then back at Levi. "He'll be fine they're taking him on a wagon that gives us one day before they reach Reiss' estate and we need every second to come up with a plan," he tells Mikasa and everyone else. "Captain I hear footsteps," Sasha whispers to them causing everyone to look up, "sounds like they're approaching." Levi quickly tells them a plan involving Armin being a decoy and Mikasa and him ambushing. Fable hides in a bush with Sasha. She watches as Armin scoops water out of a river and then two military police officers show up with guns pointing at him. She watches as Levi and Mikasa quickly jump on top of him. Fable climbs out of the bush as they tie the two up. "Awe you're so pretty," she says to the one girl, "maybe once the mps and scouts stop fighting we should hang out or something." "Fable stop making friends with the enemy," she hears Levi say behind her sitting on a rock. Fable looks behind her and then says, "let me know kay." She walks over to Levi he was obviously thinking of a plan. She watches as Jean walks over to them handing Levi pieces of paper. Fable stands out of the way as Levi stands up. "Now then you're Stohess Military Police, Sergeant Marlowe Freudenberg," he says walking over to them, "same assignment as Hitch Dreyse. We need to dispose of you" "Because of what you did Stohess was a graveyard," the girl mp, Hitch, utters to Levi, "over a hundred people were killed" Fable looks at Levi and then at the two in front of her. "Bastards I bet you all think you're some kind of heroes of justice but you're not. You dropped dozens of innocent families straight into hell on that mission of yours," the girl continues. Levi looks down at her and says, "yeah we did." Fable moves over by Levi. He looks over at her and then looks back at the two on the ground. "Hey you, you were in the southern cadet core so you trained with Annie Leonhart. Were you a friend of hers?" Hitch asks looking at Mikasa. "No," Mikasa responds. "She wouldn't have made friends their either way too gloomy and unapproachable for that. She was just afraid of people like a scared little kid not I won't get a chance to learn anything about her. She's officially listed as missing you know, why?" Hitch states turning around to look at Levi, "it's because one of your titans because one of your titans turned her into an ugly red stain on the street." Fable looks at him as he says, "no it's because one of the titans we captured was Annie Leonhart herself. Goddamn it, it makes me nobody knows a thing about this world not us or anyone else but the bastards in the center of it all. We're letting you go but we need to give ourselves a head start." "Captain Levi let me join in your cause I believe the Military Police are in the wrong here. If there's anyway I can fight this world injustice then that's what I want to do," the boy says looking up at Levi. "Easy, calm down." "I swear I won't let you down sir." "No I have no way of telling if you have enough resolves to make an enemy of the state," Levi says looking at his soldiers, "let's go. Take them deeper into the woods and tie them up Sasha." Fable follows behind Levi up the mountain as Jean asks if he could do it instead. Levi agrees and the rest keep moving. "Levi," she says walking next him. "Fable," he says looking at her. "You don't look like the drawing in that ad," she says looking at the ground as she walks, "you're very handsome." "Tch, aren't you supposed to say things like that," he says pushing some branches. "Well yeah but it doesn't mean anything less I wouldn't lie to you," she says following. "You guys sound like an old married couple," she hears Connie say behind her. "How long have you guys been together anyway?" Sasha asks. Fable looks at Levi who has stopped walking to look at them. "Stop asking dumb questions," he says looking at her, "and three months minus a few days because someone got cold feet." Fable looks at him feeling her cheeks heat up. Levi glances over the girl and then at the kids. "Sasha can you tell if Jean is getting close?" he asks looking at the girl. "Uh yeah I hear him or I hope so anyways," she responds. Fable leans against a tree next her and waits for Jean to join them. She looks over at Levi smiling. "What?" he asks looking at her. "Can I not admire my devilishly handsome boyfriend?" she questions looking at him, "that sure is doing something to me I can't lie." Levi raises an eyebrow and says, "I where this shirt all the time." "Yeah but it looks different in this lighting," she says smiling at him. "Brat," he says watching as Jean joins them with the two MPs, "I thought I said to tie them up not let them go?" Fable stands next to Levi listening to Jean's rather lengthy explanation for letting them go. "Very well," Levi says looking at them, "if either one of show any signs of me not trusting you then I'll tie you up myself." Marlow leads the way to the least maned check point. Once there Fable crouches next to Levi as the boy lets them know that they're are. "Good we'll handle things from here," Levi says to the two MPs, "now get back to your squad before they get suspicious." The two start to walk off then Levi says again, "Marlow, Hitch, we're grateful." Fable smiles at them leaving. "Alright this time we're picking the fight," Levi states. Fable piles into the wagon with Levi, Mikasa, and Armin with the three in front. "Jean we're ready," Levi tells him. "Oh Im nervous what if I trip getting out of the wagon," Fable says looking at him. "Don't trip," he says glaring at her, "stop joking around." She rolls her eyes looking at the ground waiting for her queue. She hears the three outside yelling. Once the wagon stops she quickly climbs out of the wagon and starts fighting the men at the post. Soon after Levi sends her and the others ahead while he deals with the leader. She stands alert waiting for Levi to return holding a rifle she took from one of the MPs. Fable and the others hears footsteps heading their way. She grips the gun tightly before she realizes is it was Levi. "Stand down," he says dragging the leader behind him. "Captain," Armin questions "He's with the interior police," Levi says throwing the man so he can get tied up, "I got questions. Let's move." The group start moving again until it became dark again. Levi props the man up against a tree before he starts asking questions. "Screw you," the man says causing Levi to kick him in the face. "Where'd they take Eren and Christa?" Levi asks looking at him. "You bastards think you're so brave that post was maned by recruits they barely knew how to wipe their own asses," he says looking at Levi, "no one is going to think you're heroes for beating them down." "Yeah the guilt is tearing me apart," Levi says before shoving his foot into the MPs mouth, "what's really getting to me is this mouth of yours? I'm going to suggest you start talking while you're still able to use it. Now where are Eren and Christa." Levi takes his foot out of the guys mouth and the mp says, "you can't win all that's left to do now is to find some filthy quarter to hide in covered in mud and shit. If you don't turn yourselves in then every scout we captured will get the noose starting with the guiltiest one Erwin Smith." Fable watches as Levi in one quick motion turns the guy around so he's facing the tree and breaks his arm. "That's right that's what you get for not answering my question. Some scouts lives are more valuable than others only ones dumb enough to join us," he says getting off of the guy, "'now answer my question where'd the take Eren and Christa." The guy looks up at Levi now crying and says, "I don't know. Nobody told me I swear. Kenny Ackerman doesn't like to make his business known." "Ackerman," Levi says furrowing his eyebrows, "I know Kenny that his last name." "It is." Fable looks at Levi and Mikasa as Levi speaks, "he was never much for one to share too much information about important stuff anyway, but I think you have a rough idea. You best try to remember. You still have plenty of bones to break." "Damn it are you insane?" the man asks looking at Levi. "Maybe," he says looking down at him. "Somebody is coming towards us," Sasha says. Levi throws the man onto the ground. Fable lifts the rifle to where Sasha was putting her bow. "There's more than one," she states "Told yah you're beat," the man says, "struggle all you want. One way or another the survey corp will be destroyed."
