Chapter 14

Fable lays on the bed with her eyes closed. Her cat was curled up at the foot of the bed. She shifts hearing the door open.
           "I gotta go don't I," she says sitting up on her bed.
            "Yeah," Levi says shutting the door, "get dressed we're leaving soon brat."
            "You're coming too?" she asks climbing out of bed.
            "Well to a point but I'm not going to be fighting Titans," he says watching her pick the clothes that were on the ground.
              Fable nods slightly removing her nightdress and putting her uniform back on.
               "I'll meet you down there okay," Fable says smiling planting a kiss on his cheek before petting the cat on her bed.
               Fable leaves the room and heads down to where all the other scouts were meeting. She grabs her horse and saddles it before taking it out of the stall. She puts on her odm gear before getting on her horse. As she did, Levi shows up with Hange and the priest. The three climb in the wagon with the three recruits.
               "Let's head out!" Erwin yells to the scouts.
                Fable rides next to the wagon not close enough to where she can hear them talking. The scouts keep riding through the woods at night, which means no Titans. Now she was in front of the wagon. They finally reach the Ehrmich district. Fable gets off her horse and someone puts it away from her. She watches as Levi takes the priest away. She stands with Hange waiting for the two to come back. She lefts her head noticing Levi and the priest.
"So seem to like it by any chance," Hange says walking over to them.
There was a pause and then Hange yelled, "Oh god damn make up your mind this isn't some spiritual task lives are on the line."
Fable stands back with the three recruits listening to the priest. She notices the three gasping for information the priest was giving to them. She stands next to Levi trying to process what's happening.
"Don't worry about it darling," he whispers to her as they walk to a room.
She rolls her eyes standing next to him as Hange dishes them the plan. She makes mental notes of everything Hange was saying.
"So that's the plan," Hange says looking at everyone.
"Right we have to go," Eren says walking to the door.
"Calm down Eren," Levi says watching him, "I need you all to listen. We're going our separate ways that's how it has to be. Erwin has his reasons for throwing this rag-tag team together but right now it's all riding on you. Armin, you and Hange are the brains trust to use your combined knowledge to make some kind of solution. Mikasa, I don't think I'll ever know why you're so attached to the guy but use your skills to good use, and protect Eren at all costs. And you don't screw this up. Check your emotions Eren learns the meaning of restraint. If you let yourself succumb to blind rage all hope is lost."
Hange looks at everyone and says, "Alright let's go."
Fable went to follow everyone out of the room but she feels Levi grab her arm. She stops and turns around facing him.
Levi looks over her shoulder making sure everyone was gone before saying, "And you don't do anything stupid that'll get yourself killed."
Fable smiles and hugs him. "I love you," she says softly.
"I love you too," he says pulling away and then planting a kiss on her lips, "alright you should probably get going."
"Don't miss me too much," she says walking out of the room with him.
The two meet up with the rest of them. Hange raises an eyebrow at the both of them as Fable climbs back onto her horse. Then everyone heads for Utgarad Castle.
