A few days went by, these days were spent with Fable completely avoiding Levi except for the day Hange cleared her today's mission...that was an awkward moment. Anyways today is the day they finally catch Annie, the female titan. Fable is getting ready for the mission when she feels someone watching her. She turns to see Levi standing in the doorway. She sighs softly fastening her belts. "Levi," she says looking at him putting on her boots. "You cut your hair," he says noticing her now chin-length hair. "Yeah Hange helped," she says softly with a smile, "do you like it?" "Yeah it looks good," Levi replies licking his lips, "Fable be careful out there." Fable puts her odm gear on as she responds, "You don't have to worry about me anymore Levi." "I know but I still will," he says faintly. "I'll be fine," she says putting her jacket and cloak on it. She walks over to him smiling slightly before passing by to join a few of the scouts outside. Levi takes a deep breath before closing his eyes. "She was saying how much she misses you last night," he hears Hange say behind him, "you need to get her back Levi." "She doesn't want me back," he states about to walk away from them. "She loves you Levi she's just scared," they say stepping in front of him, "it doesn't have to be now but you were so happy with her. I miss seeing you happy." Levi just looks up at Hange and then at Fable. He just walks away from Hange and gets ready to leave with Erwin and Jean. A couple of hours go by and Fable is now standing on a roof with a few other scouts. She was waiting for anything, probably the female titan and Eren if anything. She stands there waiting listening to the others talk amongst themselves. Fable looks in the direction where Eren and the other two would be. Then a bright light appears. "Fuck," she says softly. "What do we do?" one of them asks "We go help Eren," Fable says to them. Fable runs to the edge of the rooftop and uses her gear to go to the next one. She does this until she sees Mikasa fighting the female titan. She watches as she kills two scouts. She pulls out her blades and helps Mikasa because she's the only one who's doing something. Then the two go over to the capture squad as Armin and Jean lead Annie to them. Fable leads on a rooftop and watches as they try to capture her. Annie finds a to escape the trap by destroying the cannons. "Don't let her get away," she hears Hange say from a rooftop across from her. Fable proceeds to run to the edge and take off flying after the female titan with Mikasa on her side. She watches as the titan takes Mikasa to the ground somehow Fable manages to dodge her. Then she sees another bright light meaning Eren changes. She joins Hange, Armin, and Jean on a rooftop. "She's heading for level ground," someone yells "Split into two teams and surround her," Hange commands. Fable follows Hange. They stand on the rooftop watching the two fight. She keeps following the fight with the other scouts ready to jump in when Eren needs them to. "She's heading up the wall!" Fable says "Don't let her escape!" Hange yells to the scouts. She watches as what looks to be Eren tries to devour Annie. She hears everyone yelling and yet another bright light. She stands there watching. Then Levi appears cutting Eren out of this titan. "Levi," she whispers so gently that no one could hear her with all the noise. She uses the ODM gear to join everyone on the ground. She stands in between Hange and Levi waiting for something to happen. She watches Jean try to cut Annie out of the state she's currently in. "Enough," Levi says putting a hand on him, "it's over." "Someone get me a wire net," Hange calls out, "this thing belongs underground." The scouts make their way to headquarters. Fable stops in an alleyway to see a stray cat drinking from a water puddle. She then feels a presence next to her. She looks to see Levi. She wraps her arms around him tightly. "Fable," she hears Levi whisper "Shhh just hold me a minute," she gently says burying her face into his chest. "Let's go to headquarters it's been a long day," he says softly. "Wait!" she says letting go of Levi and grabbing the cat. "That thing is disgusting Fable put it back," Levi says looking at the cat. "No now come on," she says stuffing the cat into her jacket and heading to headquarters with Levi closely following.
