Fable wakes up at sunlight hitting her face. She feels Levi's breath against her neck and his arm loosely around her waist. "Levi we fell asleep," she says sitting up. "I know," he says softly looking at her. "I have equipment inspections," she says quickly getting up. "Go," Levi says watching her, "I got the stuff." "You sure?" Fable asks looking at him. "Yes," he says sitting up, "I'll see you at inspections" "Thank you," she says kissing his cheek softly before climbing down the ladder. Levi sighs watching her run out of the stables. "Brat," he says as he folding up the blanket and put it in the basket along with the dirty tea cups and kettle. He closes the basket before noticing her book. He sighs putting the book on top of the basket and heads down the ladder. Fable runs into the main building. She heads to her room. She quickly puts on her uniform pants and shirt. She starts to put on her belts and then put her hair in her signature low buns. She throws on her jacket and puts on her boots zipping them on her way out of her room. She runs into Levi as she was zipping her left boot. "Your late," he says walking to the mess hall. "I know I know," she says running to grab her equipment. She grabs her equipment and heads to the mess hall. She makes her way to spot next to Petra. "Where were you?" the girl asks leaning over to her, "Is that hay in your hair?" "I was feeding the horses," Fable says pulling the piece of hay out of her hair. "Oh hey you didn't hear it from me but Gunther wants to ask you," Petra says leaning towards her. "What?" she whispers to her as Levi and Erwin walk around inspecting equipment. "Yeah he's always talking about how cute you are," she says smiling softly, "we'll talk more afterwards." Erwin and Levi walks over to their table and they saluted. "Good morning ladies," Erwin says looking at Petra's equipment. "Good morning Commander," Petra says looking at him. Fable watches as Levi looks over her equipment and says, "good morning." "Her's is good," Levi says setting the equipment back on the table. "Yup looks good," Erwin says walking to the next group. After a while, Levi and Erwin stands in front. The commander talks about the expedition tomorrow. Soon they were dismissed, Fable picks her equipment. "Wiltson," Levi says walking over to her and Petra, "my office after you take care of your equipment." "Yessir," she says watching him walk away. "Oh god must be because you were late," Petra says as the two walk out of the mess hall with their equipment, "at least he didn't sound to angry." "Yeah must be," Fable says shrugging. The two girls head to Levi's office together. "I'll wait for you out her," Petra says leaning against the wall across from the door. Fable nods slightly opening the door to see Levi sitting at his desk. She shuts the door behind her. "Hey," she says softly walking over to him, "Petra is outside so I can't be long." He looks at her and then at the door. "Okay," he says softly. "What's wrong?" she asks looking at him. "I heard you and Petra talking," Levi says Fable smirks at him and says, "are you jealous?" "Tch no," he says crossing his arms. "Captain," she says leaning against his desk, "you don't have to worry I promise." Levi sighs looking her. She smiles softly at walks over to him. "I promise I like you too much," she says as he takes her hand. He kisses her hand and says, "you have extra cleaning because you were late, mess hall and the library." "You can't just give me a warning," she says looking at him. "I'll help," he says softly, "now go hang out with your friends." Fable smiles softly at him before walking away from him. She opens the door. "Oh my god I was getting worried," Petra says as Fable shuts the door. "I just extra cleaning duties that's all," she says as the two start walking the halls. "Really I'm sorry," the girl says walking next to her, "I'll try to help you." "Thanks Petra," she says smiling at her friend. "So you think you're going to take Gunther on his date?" Petra asks opening the door to the library. "Umm I don't know depends on what it is I guess," Fable shrugs sitting across from Petra on the floor. Petra gasps and looks at her. "You've been seeing someone haven't you?" she asks. "What? No," Fable says shaking her head. "Yes you are the floors in that vase were dead yesterday and now there's fresh flowers," the girl says looking at her, "we're the only ones that come in here and we haven't been in here yet today." "You don't know what you're talking about," she says. "It's Levi isn't it," Petra says as she watches Fable blush, "that makes sense because Levi was in the hay loft last night and you were at inspections with a piece of hay in your hay. How long?" "A few weeks," she mumbles, "don't tell anyone okay. Now come on." Fable gets up and Petra follows her back at Levi's office. "Why are we back here?" Petra asks looking at her. Fable sighs and knocks on the door. "Name and business," she hears Levi say. "Fable," she says before opening the door. Levi looks at her confused and says, "I thought you were with Petra?" "I was," Fable says sighing. "What?" he says looking at her. Fable pulls Petra into the room and shuts door. "Oh it is him," Petra says nodding, "knew it." Levi raises an eyebrow. Fable walks over to him as he asks, "I thought you wanted to keep it a secret?" "I did she found out herself," she says sitting on the couch. "Yeah things started clicking when you were in the hay loft yesterday," Petra says sitting on the couch next to Fable. "God why do we have to wear these stupid things?" Fable asks playing with her belts, "are your's this uncomfortable too?" "No," Petra says shaking her head. "You probably have them too tight," Levi says looking at her, "come here." Fable sighs getting up from the couch. She walks over to him. He undos the belts from one leg and loosens them a couple notches. "Better?" he asks looking up at her. "Yeah actually," she says as he loosens the other leg. "Here brat," he says before pulling her book out of his desk drawer. "My book!" Fable says taking it from him, "thank you." She kisses his cheek softly and says, "and I saw you got me new flowers." "You like them?" Levi asks turn back to his paperwork. "Of course I do thank you," she says going back to the couch as the door opens. "Oh I didn't realize that we were doing a squad meeting in here," she hears Oluo say as the rest of squad walks in. Levi sighs rubbing his face and says, "you ever heard of knocking." Fable looks at Levi and then at everyone else. She feels a presence behind her. She turns to see Gunther behind her. "Oh hi," she says looking up at him, "are we actually going to have a squad meeting?" "No everyone out," Levi says glaring at everyone. "Well everyone is here why don't we just have the meeting here?" Petra says shrugging. "Eren isn't here," Levi says "Wait he's part of our squad?" Fable says looking at him. "Oh we'll go get him and meet you in the meeting room okay," Petra says leaving the room dragging the boys with her. Fable watches everyone leave and looks back at Levi who had his head pressed against the back of his chair. She sighs smiling softly at him before heading over to his desk. Levi watches her lean on his desk. "Levi you seem stressed," she says as he stands up from his chair. "When am I not?" he asks looking at her. She puts her arms around his waist as he places his hands on her cheeks. He leans in and kisses her lips then her forehead. He buries his head into her neck causing her to giggle. "Come on Captain we got a meeting," she says looking at him, "I'll go make you some tea and meet you there okay." "Then I have to get this paperwork done," Levi says pulling away from her. "I'll help you don't worry," she says smiling at him. He takes her hand and walks to the door. He kisses her hand before the two left the office before heading their separate ways, Fable to the kitchen for the tea and Levi to the meeting room.
